  1. He's a popular figure over there, did some work on Spanish TV and appeared on their version of dancing on ice.
  2. Today is the day!! I knew it would happen eventually, although at times I began to lose hope. Well done on managing to post without mentioning playing football or living in Italy. I feel like this is a pivotal day in mongboard history.
  3. What short memories some fans have. 9 months ago he was lorded as being one of the main reasons behind our upturn in form and a vital cog in our team. No, it's a squad game and he's still an important part of it and a very good player.
  4. At 5 foot 4 the only clobber he'll be getting will come from Mammas and Pappas
  5. He stands just over 6 foot 3 dani, dani He'll take us to the champions league dani, dani He's big and he's strong and has lots of pace If you don't pass to him he'll punch you in the face Dani Osvaldo Southamptons goal machine
  6. I hope this isn't true. I was on holiday in Valencia visiting friends and went to see them play against Seville. He was awful, missed 2 open goals, gave away a penalty and got sent off. The Valencia fans call him the Argentine Micheal Gilkes. One to be avoided.
  7. One Dani Osvaldo There's only one Dani Osvaldo CLAP CLAP CLAP CLAP
  8. Why would anyone watch that sh*t?
  9. Yeah, peeled off and got in between Rodriguez, Lambert, Chambers and Ward Prowse (i think) to get a a fee header 6 yards out. It was shambolic defending, we had 9 outfield players in the box when the goal went in, 6 of them had gone to or were on the front post area to pick up two players, Wanyama was on the edge of the box and Cambers and Ward Prowse marking shadows.
  10. He was alright, didn't do anything special, should have scored with that header he put straight at the keeper. Probably 6 out of 10.
  11. Just to clarify. To think only two of our 18 premier league standard footballers is capable of seeing a 10 yard gap between defenders into space and passing the ball 15 yards into that space?
  12. They also advertise large twix but only give you the normal sided one. Another example if corteses contempt for the fans.
  13. I didn't say it did make it right but it is how it is. Do you think the club give a toss if you or I can't afford £40 a week every week but there are others that can take our places who can? Football is ridiculously over priced but whilst every ground in the country is 90% full most weeks why are they going to make it cheaper?
  14. Read my post about ticket pricing, number 50 on this thread. I'm not going to repeating myself but If the ground is 90% full minimum then the club will feel the price is right and it is from a business sense.
  15. Wow, two abusive posts in a row from the angriest and thickest man with broadband.
  16. Anger and abuse is a sign of stupidity.
  17. Shambolic defending, 8 players in the box marking 5 Sunderland players and the smallest man on the pitch gets between 4 players and gets a free header 6 yards out.
  18. Why though? Its the ideal scenario for the club, charge as much as they can and get near sell outs week in week out and maximise on revenue. If demand outstrips supply then put the price up again. Do the money men running football really care that some people will have to pick and chose their games? As long as the ground is 90% full most weeks then the club will think they are charging the right amount. I know some people think its a great idea to spend millions on expanding the stadium then reduce the price to sell them but the reality is no one with any sense would do this.
  19. Proper fans watch games in pubs, wearing their football shirts and shouting at the telly. They'd rather spend their money on LAGER and a burger and chips in the boozer than pay the rip of prices to go and watch thier team.
  20. Whilst wearing your shirt, sipping on a pint and singing at the telly, coz thats what real fans do, yes?
  21. Not this English supporter pal. It was decent but its a stretch to say it was 'amazing'
  22. An amazing pass? Bloody hell, it was a 15 yard through ball between two defenders into the space behind, it was decent but not amazing.
  23. Confidence. He clearly a confidence player as it showed last season when he struggled a bit but once he found his feet he was excellent for a while.
