Thats the problem with wanting to win things though isn't it, you have to do better than those around you. I am sure Chelsea fans aren't blaming other teams for doing well as the reason they wont win the title this season.

That is amazingly cool, i think Ghost Hunters are cool, just like Yvette Fielding.

We lost a match against a team that has lost more games at home than any other in this league. We lost a match against a team that we should have blown away, we lost a match, yet again against a team fighting relegation, 4 defeats in 10 games against the bottom 7 teams, nearly half, do you think this is acceptable for team that considers themselves championship contenders? It's all very well for Adkins and Butterfield to come out saying the championship race is still on but it's going to take a miracle. Brighton have only lost 5 games all season, we are now asking them to lose 4 more than games us in our last 15 games, it aint going to happen. It's all starting to wear a bit thin, there seems to a lot of talking the talk this season but not a walking the walk. When it matters we have been found wanting, just like last night.

We have now lost 0-1 against 3 of the bottom 5 and have lost 4 of our 10 games against the bottom 7 this season. To spell it out, that is 12 points thrown away, 14 if you include the poor draw at Yeovil. The reality is we should be blowing these teams away but we aren't. Wallsall were as bas a side as i've seen, they defended bravely and we didn't have a lot of luck, dodgy ref, losing Schniderlin, these things didn't help but there are no excuses for last night, we were playing away at a side that has lost more home games this season than any other in this division, this should have been a banker. Make no mistake, depsite the stats, this was a poor display. I've not had a chance to post today as got back from the game late last night and been away all day with work. Bad finishing in the first half, 5 times we were through on goal in the first half, 5 times the keeper made decent, but not great saves, in reality if he'd let them in, they'd have gone down as a goal keeping error such was the poor quality of the finishing. The second half our attempts at goal came from scrambled crosses rather than clear cut chances and the longer the game went on the more we restorted to humping it with long, hopefull balls, quite often resulting in Lambert and Barnard crashing into each other. Their goal was yet another individual error, Jaidi played well apart from that but yet again another cock up has cost us a goal. Sorry but this "it was one of those nights" "we lost a game, it happens" is starting to wear a bit thin now. 14 points dropped against sides in the bottom 7, lost nearly half of our games against teams in the bottom 7. This is not coincidence, this isn't bad luck, bad referees, poor pitches. This says to me we have a team that lacks bottle and fight, that cant get up for games like this and possibly we have a manager that cannot motivate the players to get up for games like this. If a team cant cope with the pressure of having to win away at Wallsall, the worst side at home in this division, how are they going to cope with a play off semi final or final? For the first time, i am seriously doubting if this team has what it takes to go up.
-
If we beat them by 6 it would be catastrophic, look what happened last time we won by 6. In many ways a 6-0 win would be a worse result than losing.
-
would you seriously be happy with beating a team in the relegation zone by anything less than 3 goals? Do you have no ambition?
-
Hey, i'm just getting in early and beating him to
-
but a draw could be the worst result of all, an away point leaving some thinking we are brilliant and unbeatable making some players complacent and others thinking we aren't good enough to beat Wallsall how are we going to beat anyone better? A draw could lead to massive disunity in the squad as well as a catastrophic mix of complacency and low confidence. And another thing, my last mid week away game was Exeter, where there were an awful lot of fans wearing red and white when we were playing in BLACK FFS! I cant help but this this had a massive effect on the performance, if the fans cant be bothered to wear the right colour shirts, why should the players be bothered to play properly? Wearing the wrong colours shirts in the crowd could be catastrophic.

Did you tell him anymore his norf an sarf and you'll open him up like a tin of beans you mug.
-
you're not getting it are you? On saturday we will see how good Adkins man management skills are depending on how he lifts the team or brings them down a peg or two. Today doesn't matter, at 9.45 the result is history, it's if we win at Colchester, only then will i be convinced promotion is do-able.
-
the highlight of the interview was "there is a part of me that is Dennis Hopper, you must love and height but you must do so violently......i am not in the middle anymore, because that is when you get embarassed in front of the prom queen, if you love or hste you must but do so with violence" brilliant life motto!
-
and risk getting fined and banned form the league? We all know we are skint these days what a stupid suggestion.
-
What worries me is if we do win tonight the players might take their foot off the gas saturday thinking job done and we go on a catastrophic run due to complacency which will f*ck up our season. Although if we dont win though it could be a disaster and faliure to beat in a team in the relegation zone could have a massive impact on the team confidence and lead to us going on a catastrophic run due to a lack of confidence which will f*ck up our season.
-
can you believe this guy played for England once. It's up there with Keith Curle, Andy Hinchcliffe, Carlton Palmer and Geoff Thomas.
-
watch this, this is cool. Hampshire Ghost Club, this sort of stuffs freaks me out, f*ck going to a haunted house and doing this. ..
-
is anyone else really bored with stats?
-
What really worries me is one of the mods gets a headache from reading thread on the forum his is a moderator for. If our mods get headaches from reading this forum what would happen if the players read it? Lets hope Lallana, Lambert or Fonte dont read this forum, especially not at the same time, it'll bring on migraines for them and they'll miss loads of games due to it, we are only our players reading this forum away from promotion going up in smoke.

you know what, i was when i was typing that i was thinking to myself dont type Libertines instead!! TBF this song is probably Bajs life anthem. What can you want when you've got it all??
-
You dont get to be in his position by making mistakes Deppo.
-
You've got to remember Baj is an important man, no one f*cks with him, those that do, well you know what happens. This is Bajs world and anyone that attempts to take libertines on his manor will be dealt with accordingly. You wouldn't got to Naples or Sicily and disrespect the mafia leaders by breaking their code of conduct would you? Baj is the internet Don Corleone, John Gotti and Bernando Provenzano all rolled into one, the capo di tutti capo when it comes to all things internet forum related. Mess with him and you mess with this forums Cosa Nostra, expect to be whacked. Many have taken him on, no one has ever won.
-
What really worries me is that we had 4 different goal scorers on saturday and also at Oldham in our terrible 6-0 win, we dont seem to have a player capable of scoring more than one goal a game, unless they are penalties.
-
That was a terrible result, look at the effect it had one the team, if only we'd won 2-0.
-
Just to turn this on it's head, by saying that win against a midtable side would convince you that promotion is do-able, at the moment are you saying that promotion is not do-able?
-
Just like this week, 4 points from two games is a decent return. I'd be happy with 4 this week as well, delighted with 6 and disapointed with less. Some expect us to win every game, if we dont beat Colchester does it end our promotion hopes? No, but it makes it a little tougher, if we beat them does it mean we will go up? No, but it'll make a bit easier. People need to look at our form over a period of time, rather than if we win saturday i think we'll go up. We have only lost once in the league in 2011, despite us apparantly not playing well and all the despair from the usual suspects in January that all of our midfield was injured or leaving. Makes you wonder if the management do actually know what they are doing afterall....
-
Dont be a c*ck, administration and 10 point deduction was, in football terms anyway, a disaster. Not being promoted whilst massively disapointing would not be a disaster. People need to get over this "if xxx scenario happens the Liebherrs will walk away". It's nonsense, do you think any decent business man after buying a business for £13m will just go "f*ck this, they didn't do as well as we'd hoped, i'm out" This isn't Dragons Den you know, i dont believe in the product so i'm not going to invest in it. THey own the club, do you think they'll just write off the money they paid out and put the closed signs up in the window? They willl have to sell the club, if they do then a League One club, punching below it's weight, in a premier league stadium, fan base most NPC clubs would be jealous of and no debt at all would surely make us an attractive proposition to anyone. In any case, i thought you'd be glad to see the back of them, given your constant moaning about out transfer activity during the windows, surely you'd prefer someone to come in who just throws money away signing player after player?
