Which is naïve in the extreme. From speaking directly to RK at the Awards Dinner he knew Pochettino had no inention of signing a new contract but was paying lip service to fans. At one stage he said he wasnt even sure how much influence the Manager generally had on performances.

Tiggs has really stepped up recently versus some iffy displays start of the season. Wonder if they were linked to the team being a bit under par or him not being a brilliant 1v1 defender and lacking a yard of pace (like Fox) that Shaw and Bertrand have? Certainly better to come into the side a bit further forward.

What an excellent choice by Daniel Levy to poach Pochettino from us. Superb Manager, quite possibly the best in the PL. Whilst he divided opinion, Cortese (or Reed?) certainly made a good choice for us in getting him in too, especially given they knew the uproar that would follow. Any Manager who can actually show a "philosophy" rather than just talk about it, is worthy of praise.
