"Speaking to Gazzetta dello Sport, the veteran coach said, "Pogba is still the superior player at this stage. He is already a Ferrari, just like Arturo Vidal, although he wouldn't know how to drive one ... but both Kondogbia and Imbula have the potential to reach his level, though." Fark that is a recommendation and a half. http://www.90min.com/posts/2299165-inter-s-kondogbia-can-soon-be-as-good-as-pogba-says-former-france-boss Also everything you needed to know about his stats: http://www.squawka.com/players/giannelli--imbula/stats#performance-score#marseille-(current)#french-ligue-1#24#season-2014/2015#118#all-matches#1-38#by-match

Just watched the video and I like what i see. He is like a faster version of vic with more tricks than morgan and is robust as f*ck with an eye for goal, looks tailor made for the premier league. To be fair I'd love any of the blokes we are being linked with, we have come a long way in such a short space of time its hard to maintain perspective on the sort of transfers we used to do. To help with his decision making I will now change my avatar to him from Georgie.

Just install Hula on chrome and keeping changing your country IP to get around that.

Would also be a good negotiating tactic to make out there are others.
-
Saw him 15 times in total last season, he is mustard. Don't judge others by your own standards

Its like the lottery, I like to dream what I would spend it on before reality of not winning hits home. Let me dream :-)

DONE DEAL: Saints sign Maarten Stekelenburg on season-long loan
Convict Colony replied to supersonic's topic in The Saints
Jesus you sounds like Arsene Wenger, I thought the days of 6ft 2 athletes (shout out to Danny Welbeck) attempting to play football based on physical attributes were over. Jordy Clasie would of course never played against any rough opposing midfielders in the Eredevise or for the Dutch national team, Xavi/Iniesta and Messi should sh*t their pants when they play Chelsea cos Matic is 6ft 3 or the Chilean bum finger pokers. We are now a ball playing team with Vic/Gardos/Toby as the rough options in DM positions as needed (Florin has played there for his previous club). -
The reason I am promoting him so hard is that last season I went out of my way to watch more feyanoord/ajax and PSV games thinking that is where I expected us to do a lot of shopping and whilst there are a lot of players out there who would not look out of place here (like the Feyanoord CBs of Kongbia and Van Beek) GW always stood out and in my eyes but was pushed very hard by Clasie for the influence he has on the team with both players having ethical standards that aren't driven by money which is prevalent among the current english players. GW stood out in the PSV team with Depay et al and won player of the year in the Eredevisie, if we could get him as AM, Clasie to replace Morgan and Tonny V as an option from the bench for the price of 1 Morgan then we still have the 15mil to lump Tobys way and potentially would have a net spend of around 10mil after Cedric and Juanmi for the summer with some wicked replacements.

For those who want to know what a Ward-Prowse and Steve Davis are meant to be aspiring to do here are more of his stats.

I've got a bone on finally if this is true for Georgie watch: "Courted by the biggest names from the championship of France (Marseille, Monaco and Paris SG), Georginio Wijnaldum (24 years) in England also interested. Newcastle and Southampton would enlist the Dutch international, and the Saints would even gone on the offensive. Indeed, as reported by the Guardian , Southampton PSV have offered more than € 15 million to secure the services of their midfield, author of 14 goals in this season Eredevisie. Stay tuned." http://www.footmercato.net/breves/southampton-une-offre-pour-wijnaldum_156345 Edit - I'm so convinced I've changed my avatar. Him Claise and Vilhena are awesome options.
-
His 2 goals is more than both our Attacking Midfielders managed between them all season. I think he is a player who can play with tactical discipline but also has tricks.
-
Purely for my own hope I have finally found a link to us and Wijnaldum as I think he is quality, unfortunately its just the Mail but I'll take it. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-3135798/Transfer-News-LIVE-Manchester-United-Arsenal-Chelsea-Liverpool-latest-plus-Premier-League-Europe.html Dutch article basically saying he hate's Advocaat cos he plays him out of position, Newcastle are too crap for him and he should wait for a good club like Swansea/Everton or Stoke to come in for him http://www.dichtbij.nl/eindhoven/sport/artikel/4048865/newcastle-united-is-niet-goed-genoeg-voor-wijnaldum-column.aspx Maybe I've set my sights too low for an AM who scores goals.

just out of interest what does a scholar who signs professionally earn as a guesstimate ? presume for someone like Slats it would be 1-2k a week ? or am I completely misaligned?

How a Billionaire Heiress Cracked the Premier League Boys Club

Your a tool -
I like it think it looks good, Barry would do his nut though, not enough stripes.

Tenuous link alert The Bilderberg conference is being held in Austria at a Liebherr owned hotel. Make up whatever rumours you will
-
I'm taking that and running with it.
-
Dude we don't want logic in here, we want wild rumours and inflated opinions on players we think we know but don't hahaha
-
The problem with that is perception, the rest of the team don't care they just see a bloke who is potentially worse than them being paid f*ck loads. If that 150k + is true then Rodgers is gonna have a lot of people coming to him.
-
Makes sense, he is their 5th best rated player and scored 5 goals and assisted 3 so perfect Liverpool signing hahahaha

Every weekend for the last 3yrs and various England games for the English "Xavi"
-
yeah this one has been floating around for a few months and I defo like what it would look like he would bring to the team
-
I keep working by the mantra that if I say it enough it will happen. If I had to choose who would make the biggest difference to us then Wijnaldum would exponentially improve our Attacking Midfielders of (Davis/JWP/Djurcic/Gaston) and thus our team. He has pace, assists and an eye for a goal, I would spend 15mil on him without blinking if we got 25mil for Morgan purely on the goals he scores and makes from a position we hardly get anything from offensively. Stats this season- 14 goals & 3 assists including Europe - http://www.whoscored.com/Players/33568 I think it would be a good step for him, he gets a pay rise and plays on a bigger stage and can prove himself to the big 4 here and bigger teams abroad. The only concern is the CL opportunity with Italian/Portuguese/Spanish clubs where he would also make a difference but perhaps not get paid as well.
