Haven't read the thread yet but I thought yesterday's game was a credit to the role both teams destroyers (Vic and Mulumbu) had on the game, they negated the creative side of both teams game. Yesterday felt like new players playing in a newer system and not completely gelling. Thought Dusan has silky skills and Fraser again impressive, didn't really notice our CBs which reflects well but thought our wingbacks didn't get much chance going forward. Possession looked scrappy and at certain points it was a case of pass it to half way then lump it to pelle up front who I think is better than the 1st 2 games. Think JWP is ok but would prefer Gaston in that role when fit at the moment as he is a real goal threat, stick Long in the right attacker role because with Davies and JWP we are going to see even less goals. That just reaffirms that the majority of mirror "journalists" do not know much about football or players outside the top 6 let alone the quality of players brought in from other leagues, they just hear "turmoil" and sky sports news on repeat about another playing leaving and its easier for them to go along with the perceived wisdom rather than do some research and more scarily some original thinking.

Maybe we are doing him a favour, koeman knows he won't play much and we've accepted a cheap offer to enable him to play regularly. I'd like to think as a club like the sharp deal we do what we can for players who won't feature.

hahaha well vic gets it and passes it to someone else but to be fair I think at the end of the season when he was getting back into form his passing was actually much improved, anyway vic is a destroyer, am not sure what Jack is, very neat and tidy player but I think we can all agree we groan when the ball falls to him in a good shooting position
