  1. I heard that Bearsy would like us to go for Szczesny as a back up keeper as he reckons he is guaranteed to cover himself in glory after he saw what he did in our game, don't see it myself
  2. Good to see Eljero is having a laugh, its 2.30am and he's posting birds with big arses on his facebook/twitter hahaha
  3. Also another 14pts and we equal our points haul last season, so 5 more wins and its our best ever season in the premier league.
  4. Also Sanchez is due a spell out I think with a bad back from carrying his team all season.
  5. Most of pundits on our screens are ex players who do not work hard at their craft and are allowed to come out with lazy platitudes for a easy payday. The biggest culprits by far is the BBC & BT Sport given the pundits they have recruited, the only exception for me for total contempt is Lineker and I never thought I'd say it Shearer as they at least challenge the lazy perceptions being issued. Sky are far more demanding of their pundits for the cash they pay out to their pundits across Soccer Saturday, Saturday Night Football, Super Sunday and Monday Night Football. Would you prefer watch Robbie Savage, Michael Owen, Phillip Neville or would you watch Gary Neville, Jamie Carragher, Thierry Henry.
  6. I think if we do qualify for the champions league Liverpool have shown how you should not go about it. I think its important to treat it as a nice bonus and not a divine right, use it as the opportunity to sign a couple of real real quality players who still fit within our economics but who would normally be out of our reach (personally I think Ron has Clasie penciled in for when/if Morgan goes). Then obviously we aim to get as far as possible but have a stronger squad than this year for the league next to try and improve, I'm going all Kaizen as our approach to improvement.
  7. Also is that like the 4th or 5th time Erikson has saved spurs in the 80 + minute, surely he's due a hamstring tweak as they have been flattered (chelsea apart) by their recent form as they were crap in a lot of those games they won.
  8. looking at our games played and points accrued we are set up for 72 points at the end of the season if we maintain our average, so looking at the next 6 games to maintain that we need 12 points (11.45 average). Anything above that is all the more welcome. Spurs have some horror games coming up in Feb (schedule + fixture), Man U have an easy Feb coming up but for them March onwards gets very hard as they play all the big teams.
  9. he's pretty quick on non newcastle games but he may need booze for this one
  10. ******** i tried to do that last week and couldn't find him. He's replacing tadic i think for me next week
  11. Stoked I had Elia as the first scorer in the game at 7/2
  12. Cheers redslo, good to know you spend time googling Southampton so you can get to sleep at night hahaha. Interesting stuff, yeah I was quite disappointed I could find it either but agree it's probably proprietary so they won't let the masses know for free.
  13. just look back at the everton one 01 Davis 10 Mané 32 McCarthy 33 Targett 38 McQueen 45 Seager 46 Gape
  14. Sky sports 1 from 4:45pm http://www1.skysports.com/football/live/match/313602
  15. This was our team for the Everton game as a comparison when we were hit with injuries, not too bad, we've lost Toby but can add Corky, also have Elia and Tadic. 23 Forster 02 Clyne 06 Fonte 03 Yoshida 21 Bertrand 17 Alderweireld 28 Reed 08 Davis 16 Ward-Prowse (Targett - 80' ) 07 Long (Gape - 89' ) 19 Pellè
  16. Just a general query for anyone, is there a website etc where they you can see how far each player has run during the season. I know Pelle had run the most of any forward in the premier league a while ago but I'd be interested in the stats across the entire team.
  17. Its gonna be our 3rd win on tv this week I have no doubt. 2-0 win with Elia getting on the score sheet, I think this might be his break out game and setting up Pelle. Will be an interesting battle with Betrand v Jaanmat on our left, the battle of the full backs but obviously him being ex-fey ron will know how to negate. Looks like it will be cold up there at kick off (accuweather real feel -3c) so drink some whisky or vodka if your going.
  18. hahahahaha yeah f*ck the mail and those sh*t arsed journo's
  19. Surely Arsene is buying his frenchmen from newcastle nowadays ?
  20. hahahahaha loving the new spelling i just keep thinking of this dude.
  21. Maybe this midfielder is a good idea now we've lost vic
  22. Hamstring Strain Recovery Times While every hamstring injury and the demands of your sport differ, here are some general hamstring strain recovery times when you follow an optimal physiotherapist-guided rehabilitation program. Grade 1 - 1 to 3 weeks Grade 2 - 4 to 8 weeks Grade 3 - 3 to 6 months. These may also require surgery.
  23. Targett and Betrand hmmm
  24. Different sport I know but Conor Mcgregor suffered the following in his UFC fight last year and was out for 10 months. He had a torn ACL/MCL Strain and posterior horn meniscus tear. His fighting style is based on movement and he has apparently just broken records at a sport science lab that tests other elite athletes as part of the doco leading up to his fight on Sunday http://balls.ie/main-story/conor-mcgregor-broke-records-sports-science-documentary-last-night/ If he can come back and be effective then there is no reason Jay shouldn't as I would class MMA as having more movement variations to their knee's than footballers.
