His link up play was top draw yesterday. In the 2nd half he laid off the ball well, went on to take up excellent positions only for the ball into him to be poor or knocked away by some desperate defending. He won nearly everything in the air, kept two defenders engaged giving space to others and drew plenty of free kicks. He was 100% better than last week.

Corky, Hasper57 and I were discussing MS on the way down to the game and the concensus seemed to be that he's the best passer in our team by far but he isn't a L1 player and we need L1 midfielders such as the pair we had today if we want to get out of this league.
