  1. the guy is 19 in his first full season and he had a bad game at chelsea and you come out with comments like these? it might be ****ing xmas but what a turkey.
  2. good to see that the resident skates return with a defeat or two.
  3. I don't agree with that at all. Talent is talent. If they played today they would have been developed using todays training techniques and fitness programmes.
  4. no one has mentioned Kevin Keegan? Surely worthy a shout? Steve Williams was a favourite of mine and would get a look in. Ill think about the third and come back later
  5. sure it was inconvenience and you have a right to complain. i couldnt upgrade a junior ticket last saturday sbecause the ticket system was down prior to the match but didnt feel the need to start a thread on it on a forum designated to talking about football. sureky there must be a generic forum dedicated to poor customer service that would be more relevant? what next the loo paper at st marys is like tracing paper and is to rough for your poor arrse ?
  6. oh how did you survive without your friends for a whole 15 minutes. how dreadful.
  7. unfortunately for jay rod i dont think he is a particularly confident person and as such he takes time to get in to his groove,. when he first joined saints it took a fair few games before we started to see the real jay rod. tonight he looked like the player we first saw in a saints shirt and he would definately need a few games at this levl to find his feet. i just hope it doesnt affect his comfidene on his return to the saints side. although it doesnt help when england were outclassed and out played by a strong side.
  8. shyte i thought that was on sunday.
  9. A 2-0 win at the arse will take us top at least for the day. at the point we go 2 up at arsenal we can rightlfully pull out the old championship songs. top of the league, we're going to win the league etc. could be a surreal trip in two weeks.
  10. if wanyama or morgan were injured my first choice woukd be to move ward prowse in to the middle. imo that is his natural position and where he will eventually gravitate to as he matures.nhe is so good on the ball, calm and can pick a pass.
  11. sure opinions are great. its just nooone is interested i yours.
  12. regardless of the result i still felt 100% confident that the side selected was good enough to win against a shyte sundeland side. Personally our current first team side is the best 11 i have seen for many a year. id kind of like them to get the opportunity to see how good they are over a whole season without the risk of losing a major player to injury for a relatively pointless game in what most fans consider as a reserve team cup. for me the football season is the league and the fa cup. tonight was a great opportunity for the fringe players to prove they are worthyk of a first team place and our much lauded youth academy players an opportunity to demonstrate thier future potential.
  13. you cant just keep waiting anymore? out of interest what are you going to do now you have stopped waiting? i suppose you could jump on the "call him gash" brigade on the internet. that will show him.
  14. this has turned into a golden thread. bazza keep snatching them straws you muppet.
  15. whats with the oswaldo spelling? my 10 year old comes out with funnier quips than that. fairly pointless dont you think..
  16. great player so far but no sure i class him was a saints legend after 9 games to be fair
  17. great player so far but no sure i class him was a saints legend after 9 games to be fair
  18. to be honest your posts are not as predictable as they used to be. i was expecting a debate on whether yates current capacity was about right or whether they really need to develop the extension plans to expand the bar.
  19. and your doing the typing because she has her hands and mouth full right?
  20. its not really too much point looking st the team performance but more at the individual performances. last nights side whilst having a smattering of premier league players is ultimately a championship side. if that was our starting 11 in the championship promotion season we would still be there. these games are purely about fitness of one or two possible starters and game time for players that may be needed as injury cover, of course blooding the kids is important too. However if we are serious about winning this competition as a route into europe we will need to start our fisrt team 11 starting in the next round. i think the ricing is incorrectly priced but it doesnt help attendances with these types of starting 11
  21. brilliant, it is a club tie. great spot
  22. So you are after a Rickie Lambert with Pace or a Jay Rod with Rickies touch / vision / guile. Not much then Ha Ha. How much would one of those cost in the transfer market i wonder.
  23. by the fact that we are not scoring goals against teams that according to a few we should be trouncing in our easy start, is it fair to assume we are completely overating lovren as a class act based on the fact we have been playing really poor sides? surely we cant judge until we have played the top 4 home and away?
