Think Billy Sharp and Jay Rod both signed after initial bids were rejected and then followed up 6 months later. reading the interview with holloway in the papers this morning it seems they gave the option of playing. he decided he didnt want to as his head isnt right. slightly different to refusing to play imo. at no point was he told to play and he refused.

are you basing that opinion on watching him, reading the papers or 20 second clips on the fl show? only games i saw him was against saints. seem to remember him taking our fullbacks apart in both games particularly the away game in the last 4 months of the season. either way he can play both left and right so would add versatiltiy to our squad, much needed pace and a more direct threat.
