  1. Why? Just as likely to be true as untrue in my opinion. Lowe isn't exactly known for his subtlety or choosing his words carefully! :axe:
  2. Surely using photoshop someone can make that dream a reality...
  3. TBF maybe this guy looked like a peasant or he was from a very rough part of the city???
  4. The bidders of course.
  5. Anyone fancy doing that Banksy thing where they change pieces of art? Would be great to superimpose some sort of SFC shirt on it.
  6. Lol. Lowe is like a comedy character or something from a Dickens novel. I can imagine him as Scrooge.
  7. I think we will get someone. I just hope that we can avoid further points deductions or it will be league 2 in 2 seasons.
  8. I think Fry should make it clear what an acceptable sum is. If he is moving the goalposts to try to get more finance then he is asking for trouble.
  9. Well two reasons really. Firstly they have got through due dilligence and shown proof of funding. They will also have had a lot of time to go through the books and do what is necessary. There will be no duping and hoodwinking the main money men involved. Secondly I don't believe that MJ is in any position of power with regards to any bid. He would be employed to sell the club to people. I don't like him or his methods but if it has got someone interested and then they have shown proof of funds and gone through the books whilst not pulling out then fair play. Now if Mark Fry is playing silly buggers trying to get as much money for the creditors as possible (which he is fully entitled to do) and thus putting the deal in jeopardy then these are nervous times.
  10. I don't believe that and indeed MLT has not taken sides. As he said he will support any bid which takes us forward. I believe that the MJ bid has the ability to do that and if they do MLT will fully support them.
  11. MLT is supporting the pinnalce bid not the MJ one as far as I'm aware. He did however say that he would support any bid that takes the club forward. I would imagine that if the MJ bid got in they would contact MLT to get his support.
  12. We would still sell match day tickets but how can you sell a season ticket promising a load of games in the future if there's a reasonable chance that we won't be around for them.
  13. In public maybe but in private??? He's just doing his job.
  14. True. Fry isn't the saint people paint him as though.
  15. I'm not saying he should just saying that I don't think he does, I agree with you.
  16. There you have it folks. Finance never came into it. An idiotic decision
  17. What practical use were Gasmi, Pulis, Robertson, Perkhart, Molyneux etc etc etc. The club would have performed exactly the same if these players had not come to the club this season and we would have saved massively. If Crouch had stayed he wasn't taking a salary so instantly that's that money saved. Get rid of thise loan players who played about 3 games between them by the way (Robertson and Perkhart excepted) and we would have had more than enough to pay Pearson. Remember he was prepared to take a pay cut as well. My argument is that Lowe's 100k whilst being chickenfeed compared to player salaries is still a very large amount when compared to Crouch (0) and when you consider that he was working part time twice a week. You could even argue that he didn't actually do his job because surely it was to avoid admin and relegation. He failed miserably at all his objectives yet still hindered the process by taking out 100K, think of all the money he had already taken out over the years! With regards to a wage, I would agree but certainly not as high as he gave himself and we must remember that Crouch was quite happy to continue to do the job for free. Lowe did tge job no better (and I believe a lot worse) and charged us a lot for it. That's my issue.
  18. I disagree and I don't get the obsession with a "name" manager. Lets get Tony Adams he's a "name". Shearer? MLT? No thanks. I'd much rather look for someone like Tisdale and I think a lot of supporters would feel the same. We don't want to employ someone on the strength of their name. If we did that with players and your theory was correct then BWP would be amazing. He isn't and your logic is seriously flawed.
  19. I don't thin Mark Fry cares about the fans at all.
  20. But clearly the release of his salary along with all the unnecessary loans and transfers has proved that to be a nonsense.
  21. I totally disagree. We need a manager who is the best man for the job. We are no longer one of the top clubs according to league position. Leicester went for Pearson not a "name" but did the job. Look at what Burley did for us, name manager but totally pants. If anything fans would expect a lot more from someone like Ince. They would have less patience and would expect him to achieve results. They would give him less of a chance.
  22. I agree. I'm still struggling to see what Ince has done other than get MK Dons up from league 2 with a load of money. Tisdale did the same thing twice with hardly any money. Much better IMO.
  23. Tony Adams was selected by a premiership team, as was Sturrock and Wigley. Doesn't make him good. MK Dons had loads of funds, something we are unlikely to have. He hasn't proved himself at all, certainly not to the extent tisdale has. No idea why you have an obsession with a high profile manager. No high profile manager would come here unless they have failed elsewhere. Only person I would really want is Boothroyd.
  24. It's really sad that you probably searched that on google.
