  1. My synopsis is based on where we are playing him, rather than where he might be in the future. He needs coaching on these positional awareness problems.
  2. Somebody needs to give James some positional coaching. Last night the keeper kicked out, the CF beat the CH and flicked on, Cureton picked it up and squared for an easy goal, where was James while this was going on? He was outside and behind the centreback, the nearest Norwich player was inside him and picked up the flick on for the goal. There was nobody to mark on the outside, knowing this he should have dropped round goalside of the nearest opponent in case the attacker flicked on. I have noticed this indecisiveness, and a lack of positional sense until it is too late for his reaction to be decisive. He needs to be coached on the importance of not holding a position marking nobody and quickly getting goalside of the nearest threat, provided he is onside.
  3. Sounds about right to me.
  4. It doesn't matter what happens on the playing side. Lowe is the most divisive person ever to be part of SFC. Until he severs his ties we cannot move forward.
  5. I didn't want to get into a he did this or he didn't do that argument. For me his micro managing, bean counter, interfering acceptance of the cheap option of mediocrity, was the reason we are where we are. His arrogant, I know better than the the football world, and lots of cheap crap is better than the quality I can sell to fund the profits, allowing dividends, share options and bonuses.
  6. Exactly, Lowe is a busted flush, he is a cold, unlikeable, arrogant ex under achieving banker. He is disliked by a silent majority, not for what he has done but for who and what he is. How ever long he hangs on, there is no place for him as far as the supporters are concerned. Until he goes and severs his connection the club cannot move forward. Wilde, is a man who is not respected by the supporters. His incompetence in allowing a situation where executives could outvote and get rid of shareholders was the root cause of our financial predicament. Backing Lowe knowing he was hated by the fans has cooked his goose with the fans. He is despised even more than Lowe. Crouch is not everyone's cup of tea but he is the only one of the three that has any respect from a large proportion of the fans. He has pledged his own money and has been a contributor and gave his time free. At this time he is a no brainer as Chairman, for me it is important to have Southampton people running the club, it's the outsiders that have made this mess.
  7. It sounds like he was being undermined left right and centre. I liked the man, it's a shame he wasn't flexible enough to change things at home. In any event as soon as a chairman is threatened by fans the manager is in trouble. It sounds like he wasn't getting the support he had a right to expect. It's a shame he didn't go public about the whole saga and dare Lowe to sack him. That would have kicked off a real riot amongst the fans.
  8. He has been to all the matches this season and seen Saganowski in the last two games. Also in preseason and I bet he saw the Champions league games on tv. Saganowski up front with McGoldrick was a no brainer. The first half team selection was incompetent, and where was Skacel.
  9. That was a winnable game last night, but two points dropped by a dire team selection. One up front, the wrong one, Lallana and Smith in midfield both superficial showboaters, no threat or substance, No Skacel, you can't tell me he doesn't rate a place in at least four positions in this team. The formation selected along with the lightweight midfield surrendered the initiative to Norwich for the first half. 4-4-2 was a no brainer, the manager wants a kick up the backside. Fair play to McGoldrick, sounds lke he worked hard. As Dyer won't be back this season, if at all, Go for a bit of muscle over style. Davis James Perry Saeijs Surman McLaggon Wotton Euell Skacel Saganowski McGoldrick in a 4-4-2 would be worth a try for Saturday. Boy were we lucky, crap corner, straight to a Norwich player, poor clearance, shot straight at goalkeeper deflected. Very good Saganowski goal, from a quality bending James cross.
  10. When we switched to 4-4-2 and pulled 2 goals back.
  11. At present, Lallana is a lightweight, waste of space and certainly doesn't rate a place at the moment. We need to fight our way out of this. Give McGoldrick and Saganowski a go. Play Skacel wide left, Holmes looks like he is out for a while, if he is fit play him on the right, Schneiderlin and Euell midfield, bring in Surman at left back.
  12. Beside him 4-4-2 FFS, hasn't anyone learnt. Tonight Saganowski + 4-4-2 got us a point. The first half team selection was amateurish. Skacel not even in the squad.
  13. Skacel not even in the squad, twotte.
  14. All the other teams won.
  15. We need to be a completely different side in the first half. Saganowski probably the difference. Lallana roaming as usual, in the centre circle playing wide right, no wonder we have no shape.
  16. 2-1 lucky deflection. We need some luck.
  17. The worrying thing is that the right manager can imbue a team in his own image. Hard, incisive, unbeatable spirit, (remember;)). This bunch are superficial politicians.
  18. Bill, I couldn't believe the team the Twotte picked. Wotton can't pass, isn't particularly mobile, and fouls all the time, No Skacel, one up front, McGoldrick, Lallana is a busted flush at the moment and doesn't rate a place. Saganowski on the bench, he's the only one able to play the lone striker effectively. As soon as I heard the team I thought another disaster coming up. This looks like a man who doesn't know what makes a team, no blend and more multichanges for the next two months.
  19. The approximate shareholding position is 41 shareholders own 81% and 4000 shareholders own 19%. Of the 41 shareholders more than half are in nominee companies and not even named.
  20. Interviewed with Perry on Sky Sports. He said that if formations aren't producing results it's stupid to stick with them, obviously look at other systems. Sounds like he was distancing himself from the system rigidity we have been suffering.
  21. Hands up those who sing, 'Who are you' and 'one nil, one nil' at the away supporters and shut up when the equaliser goes in five mins later.
  22. No there isn't, the fans didn't kick off until the second half of the Doncaster game, for thirteen and a half league games, plus cup games the fans have supported the team, for all the difference it made. **** poor tactics, and the teams inability to keep a decent shape was the problem.
  23. Rupert Lowe is so widely disliked, that the club won't be able to move on until he goes. He is so detached from the supporters that they have no respect for him.
  24. Didn't Lowe get agreement by a majority of the board but didn't go ahead because he wanted a unanimous decision.
  25. It was very obvious at the Doncaster game, the focus of the demonstrators was Rupert Lowe out.
