  1. Not sure how you lot had enough luck left to get rid of Cotterill like you did I think West Ham will seriously fall away now, the team we probably have to keep an eye on most in terms of automatic places is Cardiff.
  2. I predicted a top half finish with outside chance of playoffs before the start of the season. Revised that to expecting at least playoffs after 10 games. At the halfway point, I'd be disappointed with anything less than 2nd now.
  3. We're a set of fans that are awesome when the team needs us. We're at our loudest when we're losing. Today's match was so comfortable it was unbelieveable. Palace had a total of two shots on target, both of which might as well have been back passes. It's no wonder the crowd sat back, relaxed, and just enjoyed the match. Especially with it being Boxing Day and a lot of them being one match a year fans there because of a Christmas Present etc.
  4. And finally got around to finding and updating this again
  5. And that's enough.
  6. Oops, missed the other thread. Merged.
  7. Not sure this actually needs a caption...
  8. Looks like Chaplow might be back for the next game, so that'll make a difference. Not to mention this result might not be worth anything by the end of the season, depending on what happens to Pompey.
  9. As long as we beat them at home I'll take that result. Still gutting to have not won after ****ing all over them like that.
  10. Hah, see thier eyes? They're ****ing themselves.
  11. 'Where Pompey floundered'
  12. First goal will be important, only Blackpool have stopped us taking full points after we've gone in front in something like 40 odd games.
  13. So why is an independent administrator talking about trying to save a company that isn't in administration? CSI should be his concern, not Pompey... or is CSI basically Pompey?
  14. Big Sam been sent to the stands.
  15. Boro back in front. Probably marginally better than a Cardiff win, considering their recent form.
  16. Cardiff equalised against Boro a while ago
  17. The money's running out, and they can't even sell out against us... It all comes down to whether there's anyone out there left that's willing to give up a multi-million pound fortune to keep them alive. That's their only chance now, as the world heads into another recession. Otherwise, could be that this thread finally gets closed.
  18. 3-0 to Saints, their players completely bottling it and Pompey ending with 9 men.
  19. Well, we've had a bad day, our lead at the top of the table was only extended to three points, and we're only unbeaten at home in the league for more than a year now... Jeez, feeling a heck of a lot better now! West Ham meanwhile, must be feeling pretty awful!
  20. Point gained I reckon against that cheating ****ing **** of a referee.
  21. Taking average finishing position into account (you know, counting ALL seasons instead of just those two where you won the league...) we're above you. Also, many of our Southern League wins were won at a time when it was considered the equal of the Football League, and was a seperate entity.
  22. They could probably just reduce the FAPPT to one statement... 'Must never have owned Portsmouth Football Club.'
  23. Actually it's more like the spel.... no I just can't...
  24. Notice how all his arguments have moved to how their quality of supporters are better now that their all time average attendances have dropped below ours? As for never being talked about in that way... Beckham himself said that his least favourite ground to play at was The Dell because of the hostile atmosphere, and we were called the best losing fans ever to grace a final after we lost the 2003 FA Cup final (to Arsenal and Henry, since you seem to think his opinion is so important)... There's two examples right off the top of my head. Enough of history though, never mind what Henry might have once said about your tinpot little club, NOW; Right through from the top, looking for a sixth owner in two years, to the return of the exact same administrator you had before, to the potential return of Chanrai, to the crumbling ground that has the minimum money spent on it each season to scrape it through health and safety regulations, to the fact that you sold off your academy to fund part of one win against us in the FA Cup and another season in the Championship, to the fact that you don't even own a training ground and hire one in Southampton, to one of the highest paid squads in the league struggling against relegation, to the crowds quickly melting away this season, to Westwood, to the fact that charities are still claiming you owe them money, to the fact that you managed to walk away from tens of millions of pounds worth of debt, and are still struggling to see how you'll pay off the rest, so much so that you haven't even STARTED yet... every aspect of your club is tinpot, a joke, and laughable.
  25. Shocking from us, but at least other results bailed us out. Need Lambert and Chaplow back. Blue Line and on to the next one.
