  1. Complete Bond DVD collection (James not Kevin), BBC Olympics DVD, Saints Tee and Calendar. Most of these I bought myself. Wife has no idea what I like and kids are skint. Family time always the best present though.
  2. Not much to choose between us and any of the other sides who are likely to finish mid table with us. QPR, Villa, Reading and West Ham are all worse than us.
  3. Sunderland are arguably the worst attacking outfit in the Premier League, but we still managed to lose to them at home.Spectacular underachievement. Every ****ing Christmas, same ****ing story.
  4. Good 2-0 win. Unfortunately will only go down as 1-0 due to the **** ref. They must have replayed Puncheons first goal 6 times over here and couldn't find anything at all wrong with it. Still unexplained. The ref was so bad I was worried when he was in our box as i thought if a chance broke to him he'd put it away. 3 games in a row at home, 3 **** refs. Great that we can rise above it and put in a performance like that. Kelvin has to keep his place on the back of a clean sheet and no comedy errors. Are there really that many booing Guly or is it just some booing and some chanting 'Guly' which makes the 'boo' noise louder?
  5. Balls is one of the reasons I am now living in Oz. Him and Brown werent fit to run a sweet shop let alone the British economy. But how much did the Right On PC press lap up everything the pair of them did. Dangerous bull****ters the pair of them.
  6. We could smash them all over the park, but a couple of Benny Hill moments from our keeper or one of our defenders and all that good work goes out the window. I would take 1-0 and no more stupid mistakes.
  7. Watched the last 20 on TV over here. Seemed to me that we had plenty of legs, got the ball into dangerous areas a few times, but dreadful pass execution cost us. Davis and Rodriguez the culprits. Need to be far more clinical in the EPL. Sloppiness ends in defeats. Like this did.
  8. Very pleased with my decision to get up at 1am and go back to bed at 3am to watch that. The season has started. At ****ing last. Always had faith, but was getting a bit jittery.
  9. Officials were making it up as they went along. Atkinson wasn't even going to award a free kick against Fonte until Tiote started feigning injury. Ramirez clipped so at least one clear penalty, J Rod onside, corners not given, throw ins given the wrong way. All that was missing from the officiating team was the comedy red noses and the exploding car to go off in.
  10. I think it stems from a mental attitude, prevalent in the Prem, that on the one side, we have a team I have reffed for several seasons and know - on the other side we have a promoted side. Promoted side should struggle. Therefore I will favour the established Premier League side whenever I am in doubt. See it all the time. Both Refs and Linos.
  11. Provocative bit of writing there from Neil Allen. I would say he is getting into dangerous territory. One or two more pieces like that and he might want to think about spending some money on personal security. There are some nutters around.
  12. Going to be a hard game. Even without Cabaye and Collocini they have plenty to give us trouble. Pards will have them fired up too. Get on the front foot and let them worry about us - our attack can be top 8 quality when they are at it, and they will be tired after Europe. Good chance for at least a point.
  13. Punch has completed his journey. Take a bow son. Gazza is just starting his, lets show some faith. Together as One.
  14. Punch for me, but some very good performances all round. Fonte looked very assured, but agree also with all the others highlighted above.
  15. FFS not the 'agree to let us have our way or the puppy gets shot' card again? How many times?
  16. I see there is a dispensation for motor cycle helmets. Should be the same with the police. It's the individuals risk. In my view the establishment has fulfilled it's OHS obligation by providing the helmet. I know the law doesn't see it that way though. The law needs changing.
  17. Jeez - not a must win - far too early in the season, but for sure a should win. If believe in ourselves, and believe we are are a mid table side, we really should be putting these away. **** defence or not, with our firepower we should win by two or three - I'm going for 4-2.
  18. Confidence and luck. We are a far better side than West Ham and I fully expect us to finish above them. They are on the crest of a slump, and I believe we will shortly be headed in the opposite direction. Noble is vastly overrated, and Nolan is the jammiest git in football.
  19. Heres the thing - it's not because you are Pompey. It's because of what you have done to the game. I would hate you f@ckers even if you were some Northern nonentity. You have taken the p1ss out of the game, repeatedly, and gloated over it. You are universally despised. It's not just us.
  20. So the best outcome now for the long suffering creditors is for the club to go pop with a wedge in the bank. Probably February after the next PP. The final PP I would guess is ringfenced for the hero/villain compromisers and King Kanu and might even be guaranteed even if Pompey go pop (I am speculating). Therefore a February liquidation remains the most likely outcome in my opinion. Maybe January once the PP's become unconditional (speculating again) - which would accord with what a few Pompey ITK'ers have indicated above. Glad you enjoyed taking your point at SMS with players you could never afford, and never paid. Come to think of it, can't rememember the last time you beat us fair and square. **** off and thanks for all the Fish.
  21. Can't help noticing the slow transition from defence to attack, the slow ponderous build ups. Often Puncheon is the culprit, putting his foot on it, squaring off the defender, thinking about what to do next, shimmying, turning, looking for a pass.....too ****ing slow. He wasn't too bad overall, but needs to stop slowing things down so often, he does best when he just knocks it past his oppo and beats him for pace - he did it a few times.
  22. Gazzaniga should have a long hard look at himself after that. Professional goalkeeper? Seriously? That error was up there with Barts Golden Comedy Performance against Blackpool. And Marriner wont be happy with his performance when he sees Monks foul on Lallana.
  23. Link on the BBC story quotes Appy as saying he had received no contact up until Tuesday night. Must have been a lie. Pompey employee in deception shocker. They all grow forked tongues when they go down there. Swamp Fever I reckon.
  24. FFS he just made a return from a prolonged period of injury and we slaughter him because he gives the ball away a few times trying to create things? Give him a break. He's an exceptional talent, and a game closer to match fitness, and rediscovering his touch.
  25. We are a work in progress in transition into the PL. Just like moving into a new house, it doesn't feel like home just yet. A couple of wins and a bit of confidence and we'll be fine. Too soon to be getting rid of Adkins. We need stability, and NA is capable of turning things around - just believe in him.
