Gaston got a step nearer to being the top player that he can be. Gazzaniga looked the part. Fans were great.

Mulumba spent more time on his arse looking for free kicks than he did on his feet. A stronger ref would have carded him early on. Don't want cheats like that in my side thanks. Ramirez every day of the week.

Get Chaplow out there with the captains armband. We have a lot of good players lacking confidence and underperforming. We need a leader on the pitch. I think Chaplow has the qualities required. Not the best technically, but Morgan needs some time on the bench to develop some balls to go with his technical ability.

Halsey was a disgrace. West Brom should have been down to 10 after the rake on Lallana just before the blatant handball in the build up to their first. And how did Olsen got away with that assault on lallana in the box? Halsey has a lot to answer for. We are short on confidence and dont need Homers like him.

We really should beat West Brom. They are a very ordinary side who have been over achieving. The we go into a winnable home game full of confidence. Too soon to panic. With Ramirez and Cork back we have the class to make this bottom three ******** look like a bad dream and very soon.

Newport County. Brisbane Roar. And half an eye on Plymouth and Torquay (I know a player there).

Saw the Jam seven times. Every time was as good as you think it would have been mate. Weller does some Jam numbers on his solo tours these days - he did Art School and Strange Town when I saw him at the Tivoli in Brisbane in late 2010. I have a mate who is the 5th member of Coldplay (Jonnys Roadie) and he still gets star struck when he sees the Modfather.

This is a very winnable game. They've had a dolly up start and are punching well above their weight. We've had a tough start and have a lot more to offer than many on here think. Hope we really stuff the Pompey loving tea baggers. Might be a game to improve the goal difference a bit too, as their defence isn't up to much.

What is going on,at our beloved club?

A couple of wins and most of this crap will just fade away. -
We should be well up for this one. Its only a feeder club for the Skates anyway, we owe them one just for that.

Leeds 3 - 0 Saints - Post Match Reaction
Kingsbridge Saint replied to Saint_clark's topic in The Saints
We are Premier League and should be playing our reserves in this competition. Anything else would be like beating your little kid brother at wrestling. Not bothered in the slightest. Leeds have nothing to be proud of, they are an ordinary bunch of **** kickers with the worst fans in the game. I am proud to be a Saint. We will be fine although I acknowledge others right to panic. We are Premier League. -
Saints 1-2 Spurs // Post-Match Views
Kingsbridge Saint replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
Saw enough in the second half to feel that with the addition of Ramirez we are not far off winning a couple on the bounce which will do wonders for confidence and the general tone on here. Yeah the table looks crap but we've had a really tough start. -
Need to hang on to Adkins. This game was always a write off. Cant afford to play like this against the **** teams like West Ham though. Thats when I get ****ed off.

Harry Redknapp to be named manager within 3 weeks
Kingsbridge Saint replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
Serial tax dodger and relegation specialist. He can Jog On. I would rather go down with Adkins playing attractive football than go down with Saggy and his wheeler dealing approach. -
If Lambert starts and we take the lead I reckon we could get something. Provided Adkins doesn't have another brain fart and take him off again of course.

Time for the BBC to lose its charter
Kingsbridge Saint replied to alpine_saint's topic in The Lounge
Jeez - you should see the TV in Australia - wall to wall rubbish from the moment you get up to the moment you turn in. The BBC shines like a beacon in comparison, despite the efforts of the liberal left to dumb it down. -
Got to be a 12 month stretch for that. Leppings Lane End as well. Maybe they should make an exception and bring the cages back just for Leeds fans.
-
Lambert ain't the 'be all and end all' for sure. But since when has taking off your best player and then not starting him at all been a successful policy for a football manager? Adkins is starting to resemble Burley in terms of digging his heels in and being obstinate. OK he's done great getting us this far but our defence is an embarrassment and Lambert is one of our best defenders at set pieces. He needs to take a look at himself.

So the Trust get strung along for about 4 months while PKF keep making encouraging noises and trousering £9,000 per day. Then the next tranche of parachute money comes in and they say 'sorry guys, you haven't got the resources'. And hit the liquidate button. All makes perfect sense to me. Trust or bust, and I reckon the latter is odds on still.

Adkins suicidal substitutions once again cost us!
Kingsbridge Saint replied to Mr X's topic in The Saints
Adkins needs some help technically I feel. Taking Lambert off was utter madness, completely baffling. Reminded me of a Burley substitution. He's not learned a thing from making the same mistake against Man Utd. He has been good for us, but if he persists with this he is going to get fired, and rightly so. -
We could really do with a first point on the road. We were far far better than them last season, but with the dolly up fixtures they have had to start the season their confidence will be higher than ours and that could be important. Hope we don't take the lead too early and give Adkins the opportunity to **** things up with his substitutions again.

How many tactical mistakes is Adkins allowed?
Kingsbridge Saint replied to Dibden Purlieu Saint's topic in The Saints
The thing Adkins forgets is that Lambert is probably our best defender as well. Taking off our best two attacking threats in a home game where the opposition are there for the taking is asking for trouble if it doesn't come off. Well, here comes trouble. I turned this afternoon and i won't be the only one. Adkins needs help, or at least someone else to be in charge of substitutions, as he clearly hasn't got a clue what he is doing. -
Saints 2 Fulham 2 - Post Match Reactions
Kingsbridge Saint replied to St Chalet's topic in The Saints
Adkins has been great for us, and was unlucky to lose Ramirez and Clyne today, but taking off your best two attacking players at home against a side there for the taking is a direct route to a P45 if it doesn't come off. Davis and Schneiderlin were both hopeless today, both of them have the first touch of a camel and repeatedly gave the ball away. We have to sort out the pub defending too. Hooiveld is becoming a liability.
