A few apologists for Pompeys behaviour on here over the past few posts. Personally I don't hate their fans or wish death and destruction on them, their families, pets or lives in general. I just want their festering cesspit of a club wound up, as it would be a fair and just outcome in a civilised society.

If the new owners don't come through, there is a very strong chance they won't see next season. And I for one, would be glad.

Brighton have cheated all season by using the ballboys to speed up and slow down play when it suits them, using theatricals to get opposition players booked and diving for penalties. Not my opinion, Nigel Adkins (see the OS piece). Seems blue shirts and the south coast just have that corrupting influence. A win for us would be a win for playing the game the right way.

Well done Brighton for winning the League, but if both sides play to their full potential, we win. Sides visiting the Withdean simply don't get a stiffy and raise their game the way they do when they walk out at SMS. On a level playing field, we are the better side. Hopefully we can prove it Saturday by turning them over on their turnip field with a side decimated by injury.

Definitely need to avoid defeat and the negativity that would engender. A draw would be a decent result. A win would be fantastic.
