  1. and i thought Guly had a few nice touches would like to have seen him come on for Lambert and given Bernard some decent service.
  2. I am ITK have heard it from a horses mouth and got texts. NickG the sum is actually closer to £55 and AP was also given a bag of wine gums to keep stum. My mate who does't know anything has been told Pele will be appointed by lunchtime.
  3. Agree on Puncheon, whatever peoples views lets keep this on remembering Marcus.

  5. RIP Marcus. What you did for SFC can never be repaid. My thoughts are with your family. Thank you for the memories you have given us and the ones which are to come. You will never be forgotten.
  6. Nice to see that we are being run as a business. I remember all sorts of rubbish the old regime got involved in. NC has a vision to develop SFC into a world class club and I for one love the Saints so whatever 'business' decision needs to be made let NC get on with it. Cortese may not be familiar with how to run a football club, but who actually cares his level of experience goes way above how to run a second tier football club. Why are people even worried about the media they do so much damage can't believe people can even moan about this. If he signs another 1 million player and the money comes from running the club as a business will these people still complain. Get real get a grip. Winge over and out!
  7. Some guys next to us shared a limo they reckoned split three ways it only cost £40 each, now that is good business!

  9. I was thinking that too. The level of detail is way beyond! I wish we could a have a resource like that!
  10. Like it! West Ham used to sing Tricky Trevor, Tricky Trevor to Trev 'the man' Sinclair... So how about a few versus of Tricky Ricky imagige that after a few pints!
  11. Agreed end of.
  12. We need the same approach as Ajax. Stayed in the same hotel as them last night. They were total professionals, polite enjoying down time and generally very sociable! A special mention for Suarez and the other senoir pro's who seem to be tutoring some of the other players over a few games of cards. I hope Pardew can instil that type of professional approach.
  13. at 9am today there were only 8,00 tickets left. So the gate expected is around 28,000. A large walk up is expected and that takes into account not all season tickets showing up. This is according to the girl I spoke to at the box office! COYR
  14. Just spoke to the ticket office only 8,000 tickets left for the Ajax game. This maybe due to the free ticket offer but even still this is heading for a near capacity for Marcus's first game. COYR

I think it would be massively expensive to expand Itchen due to the offices and corporate boxes and the Kingsland due to the railway track. I remember at the time I heard a similar thing about the foundations potentially being able to take a two tiered bowl with a capacity of 52,000 but the epansion would have cost more than the staduim cost to build and the figure has probable risen since 2001. I cannot see him expanding the staduim unless we secure at leat 4 years in the preimership, with around 31,500 average attendence and Europe on the horizon. But I am never expecting to see that! I think if we pushed for a play off place this season and took stock and consildated all SFC business, then next year we could be in good shape to push for a return to the CCC. COYR
  17. I think 1-2 million well spent should be enough. A decent proven player in league 1 should be between 500K- 1million. 5 million would be way to much and put to much pressure on the playing staff. We need to build a squad slowly not panic buy whoever will come for the money. I would honestly be happy with getting all players on free's there are enough about.
  18. Its got to happen, they employ 32,600 worldwide, thats perfect for a global staff meeting at SMS!
  19. He has got to talk to Jackson, to simply say sorry I don't care who you think is backing you I would rather have Mandaric telling me he has a buyer behind him than entertain you if you were the last person on the planet. Or something to that effect.
  20. If any of the young players play well in pre season then they will probably be off, so hopefully we will lose all games until September!
  21. Thank you someone talking sense. We as a club did wrong and should be penalised for it. Otherwise we are as bas as Drogba and the cheats at Chelski
  22. Am I missing something with the Statement, "With that in mind, The Football League has responded directly to the Pinnacle Group, and will continue to liaise with their representatives going forward." They could have come forward with good news, a compromise. Why is just the negative beeing seen in a neutral statement?
  23. It will go through today, have faith. Just final legal horse play.
