  1. They’re as bad as one another and the same goes for players right across the park. There’s a couple of exceptions of course but in general it’s like-for-like in every position and hence why changes of personnel within the squad hardly make any discernible difference. Perm any two CB’s from any equally poor pool of 5, any combination of midfielders or either keeper and it’s all much of a muchness.
  2. ...and can bring 15 players with him. Because if he can’t then there’s no point changing him.
  3. If you think Romeu for Redmond was a bad decision then I really can’t help you. And I take it you saw what Adams did when he had a chance. That’s why he’s not on the pitch. At least be objective.
  4. Romeu got some accolades tonight, the same player who was getting slagged off prior to his dropping. Our subs are no better than the 11 on the pitch and struggle to make an impact. Boufal has been injured. Armstrong injured. Bottom line is we have a squad of poor players and no manager is going to effectively change that unless he is supported by the club in the transfer windows. Like we have done with Danso and Adams. That’s the level of support Ralph gets!
  5. Seemingly West Ham sycophants.
  6. You’ve not been following them very long then.
  7. There’s one thing you can’t blame him for, unless you are just making things up, is his work rate. I actually think his problem right now is he is trying too hard and he’s having a stinker.
  8. The officials seem to be going out of their way to even up their first half performance.
  9. The officials seem to be going out of their way to even up their first half performance.
  10. Shame Long being Shame Long. Dear God.
  11. I guess it was the irony of a post from someone sat on a computer in North America. Maybe.
  12. Everyone, including Ralph, knew that but if you don’t have capable personnel to address it than WTF can you do?!
  13. Don’t be too critical. He was marking a threatening piece of grass at the time.
  14. Yes. HTH.
  15. Stephens marking fresh air again. Antonio running the defenders ragged.
  16. But of course the crux there is for the club to support Ralph in getting players in and out in those two windows. If they don’t then it’s status quo trying to get the best out of what we have.
  17. Isn’t he injured?....as always
  18. 3 points. Lovely. Our RB options are as equally poor as at CB. Need to address both in January if our esteemed owner can find his cheque book.
  19. It might seem ‘unprofessional’ but it’s a welcome to the real world experience for your grandson. When he applies for full-time jobs in the future he will find that in the vast majority of cases a company will not reply to applicants they are not interested in.
  20. What’s that got to do with it? You claimed that Stephens should keep his place in the team as he gets us goals which in some way might make up for not being able to do his primary job which is defend. If you’re using that as the justification then it’s not really true is it.
  21. 3 PL goals since 2016. Yes, let’s keep him in for his goals.
  22. If you think they get a ‘free pass’ then I don’t think you’ve been reading much of the forum. As for Stephens the less said the better.
  23. I think they call that Hobson’s choice. Neither are good enough.
  24. Best player on the pitch last night. Even did the AWOL midfielders work.
  25. The substitutions changed the game. End of. The manager won that game tonight despite the ‘efforts’ of some of the team to the contrary.
