The missing word being?

Daily Echo don't seem to think it's a goer.

We're following the lead of the main political parties. Announce good news (JWP) on the same day you try and bury bad news (Cork). Anyway, as you say, glad to see him stay. Think he's come on significantly this year under Koeman.

I was sat in the Pompey season ticket section with my Dad who got us tickets through a friend of a friend on the Pompey Board. Wasn't the most popular of teenagers when the goal went in and I lept off my seat. Am I right in thinking Alan Biley (sp) had just hit the bar at the other end?

Never heard of him but a quick glance at Wiki says a midfielder (we're well cover there already - future Cork / Morgan possible moves may change that) who gets a goal every ten games or so.

It cuts both ways I guess. We weren't exactly quick off the mark to make him an offer and he's taking his time to review the offer and his options.

New article up on Sky Sports http://www1.skysports.com/transfer/news/21476/9645562/premier-league-morgan-schneiderlin-is-good-enough-for-the-top-but-could-he-get-there-with-southampton

I don't expect the ploughed field helped.

Many premiership players had their career finished through a hamstring?

Tadic is a bit willow-the-wisp

Lols commentator 'side netti.....oh it's in!'

Abductor strain

Pochettino got crucified for not playing our best available 11 last year....just saying.

Daily Echo reporting positive news on the injury. 3 - 4 weeks out potentially missing only 2 Prem games. http://www.dailyecho.co.uk/sport/11721485.Injury_boost_for_Saints_star/?ref=mr

The Sun, see post #37 (don't shoot the messenger)

I see on SkySports in the Paper Talk section The Sun are claiming Jack is set to leave after turning down the contract offer.

Sorry if already posted but an interesting report on Sky Sports of some of the top Prem clubs total wage bills. Saints being at less than a quarter (or so) of Man City Man Utd and Chelsea. No surprises there but shows how much we are punching above our weight in relative performance terms. http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11095/9642781/premier-league-chelseas-wage-bill-rises-to-1631905m-a-year-but-is-still-lower-than-manchester-clubs

Another striker is the main criteria. Wouldn't be surprised if Koeman looks to the Dutch league for someone, even if it is on loan, to give us cover till the end of the season. I'm assuming J-Rod is still some way off? Is he back in 'full' training do we know?

Good news. Might not be a first choice pick but adds depth to the squad and is more than capable.

Great confidence booster going in to the Xmas period.

It's more that an unproven youngster with only a few minutes pitch time is suddenly going to be our saviour in our hour of need.

Threadbare.

Who's fit / available for the Everton game?

Just a seat required

So what would the positives be?
