It would seem that Toby, Mane, Pelle and Tadic are all Koemans own identified targets which leaves Les and our scouting team finding Bertrand, Gardos and Taider (less said the better). Maybe there's an opportunity for some cost-saving.
Will they still be relying on fax machines again today? Normally wake up the day after transfer window closes to find some high profile move completed several hours after the deadline.
All these clubs and players flip-flopping around but when they do eventually sign they will have been 'the number one target all along' and 'my mind was set on this club from the start'
No that's not the point. The 'point' is ref post #20 or post #16. Papers are papers, journo's are journo's. The bottom line is there is a mix of BS and accuracy in all media and you have to fight you're way through it to find the truth. But to dismiss or believe everything is probably not the answer.
Seems they were wrong about Taider as well.

We can dismiss the link to Mane then.

It would make for a strange forum if we only debated retrospectively don't you think. Surely debating what might happen as a consequence of actions and decisions is just, if not more, relevant?
I guess he's basing that with what we know happened during the summer, the constant media speculation and of course his interview on MOTD. He might be wrong, he's just expressing an opinion on reasonable circumstantial evidence but he might be right. So your roll-eyes icon is a little strange.
