  1. Vaughan managed him well, he'll be back at Surrey next summer and he's very popular in the IPL - so he's not burned all the bridges as some would suggest. He's a talented c()ck.
  2. You can get plenty of apartments on airbnb: https://www.airbnb.co.uk/s/Paris--France?checkin=10-04-2015&checkout=15-04-2015&guests=6&source=bb I'm a big fan of this site too, used it loads of times.
  3. Come Euro2016 finals Chambers is more likely to be playing centre back for Arsenal than right back. Games against the likes of San Marino should have both eyes firmly on the future, the decision to put Chambers in at right back was not about the future. Playing him at CB would have made much more sense. Guess I'm just sick of seeing the likes of Smalling, Jones and now Chambers playing right back for England.
  4. As I said before the game - why pick 3 centre backs and a left back against San chuffin Marino??? What has Roy learnt about playing Chambers out of position? Why play Jags in this game? We know what he brings. If the Chambers selection was about giving him game time then he should have played CB with Cahill. Good result, poor performance, little learned.. and so it continues.
  5. Very disappointing selection. Playing 3 centre backs and a left back against San Marino?? Give me strength.
  6. Doesn't this type of thing get leaked about every 4 international breaks? Call me an ol' cynic but doesn't this type of media leak just keep EPL as lead story when in actual fact there is feck all happening. Classic from the Ecclestone book of marketing.
  7. Clyne has been the best English RB for 14 months now. Would be a travesty if he's not selected for England tonight.
  8. Classic fan scapegoat. Reason is not necessary for such a title.
  9. If we've learnt anything from January this year it is that the club is being built on very sound platforms. No particular area of the football or business side has a single point of failure. We appear to be structured perfectly to deal with change. Change will always be a part of Southampton FC it is how we prepare for change that will be the key to our success.
  10. Thanks. I learnt a new word today.
  11. Metaphorically speaking? Or is Dig really a massive lady garden? If Dig actually is a massive flange, then I could forgive his typing skills particularly if using an iPhone.
  12. I'm fairly certain form comes into it..
  13. To be fair you are right as of the end of September... 6 games... 1 of which was against a supposed top 4/5 side - which we lost... Even in the good times it's worth keeping some perspective.
  14. Of course it was an unsettling period but it's possibly to isolate individual changes and plan around them, the Bertrand / Targett cover for LB was good enough for me.
  15. I think some are less likely to pish themselves when the boat rocks a bit.
  16. OR we buy him for £10m and sell him the next day for £15m.
  17. That is your (and some others) context, not mine... my context, I'm sure it's on this site somewhere, is that we sold a left back for £27m and that we don't need a £27m left back. I wasn't that inspired by Bertrand but I thought it sensible given that we are hopeful of Targett coming through - effectively the deal was right for us. Even though my bed stayed dry over the summer I do miss the buzz of that rollercoaster
  18. I'm actually happy that Poch left. I wouldn't go back. I hope we tear Spurs a new one.

    Mane

Plus the lino only needs to keep up with the last defender not Mane. But apart from that
  20. It's a f**king shame we didn't sign Alex Song.
  21. Samuels is entitled to his opinion, as am I of his opinion. My opinion of his opinion is not very complemental (sic) to him.
  22. That's a lot of erotic word play for Bletch to handle - he'll probably be stroking his ego for sometime following that bombardment of smut.
