Harding played well at right back against Forest & Coventry, he was admittedly dreadful against Leicester but wasn't everyone? Hopefully Richardson is fit though, he gives us another dimension at right back especially at home. Play like we did against Burnley last Saturday and I think we'll win this 3 or 4 nil.

How many points for 2nd place this season
saints_is_the_south replied to Thedelldays's topic in The Saints
I want to win the league, fed up of being runners up all the time lets win something FFS! Seriously though, I would be over the moon with 2nd place too & I think we'll do it. A lot will depend on the next 6 games IMO, a time where we really need to press home our advantage. -
SAINTS V DERBY THIS SAT, FULL HOUSE = 12th MAN
saints_is_the_south replied to gazzzza's topic in The Saints
Derby normally take a decent following so probs a few more away fans than last game at SMS., I reckon 26K on Saturday. You'll definitely see attendances rise the closer it gets to end of the season. Skates, Reading and Cov on the last day will all sell out IMO. -
For Those Travelling To West Ham
saints_is_the_south replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
I have a cab booked for 4 of us from Upton Park all the way back to Waterloo. £18. Bargain. Booked it through http://www.anycabs.co.uk. -
Booked it up, going to give em a calll tomorrow to double check that they'll definitely be there. And to minibarcelonasaint, it's £20 total price so a fiver each.
-
For anybody else that doesn't fancy the wait after the game, you can check quotes for a cab here: http://www.anycabs.co.uk. £20 between 4 of us back to Waterloo.

West Ham have definitely shown they are beatable at home, all the games I've seen of them on TV I don't think they've been particularly impressive. Forest dominated them the other week and could have been 3 or 4 nil up at HT with the chances WHU gifted them. If Forest who are gash can go there and give them a game then I'm pretty sure we can, with the added advantage that if we create chances we should be more clinical.

Getting up to London about 3ish, going to head over Trafalgar Square way first some cracking little boozers round that way and then onto the Millers Well. Sounds like getting away after the game is going to be a nightmare, thinking about trying to grab a cab to West Ham tube station and then getting the Jubilee straight back to Waterloo from there. Two trains at 22.35 and 22.39 so it would be nice to get on one of those back especially with work the next day!

Burnley have already beaten Derby, West Ham, Middlesbro and Hull away this season, I'm backing them to add Saints to that list on Saturday I'm afraid. 2-0 Burnley.

Realistic Expectations for the rst of the season...
saints_is_the_south replied to Born In The 80s's topic in The Saints
I'm starting to believe that we are going to struggle even making the Play Offs. We'll have a lot better idea after the next 2 games, but if asked today to predict our final position I'd say 7th or 8th. -
So who else was utterly embarassed to be stood in the Northam tonight, when the song of one of our main promotion rivals got sung not once but all of 3 fecking times. A few of us tried to drown these morons out but there seemed to be quite a lot singing it. There really are some grade A idiots amongst our support. Looking forward to getting back to the Kingsland North on Saturday for sure.
-
Would have taken a point if offered before the game. Thought we controlled the game but without any threat up top. I seriously believed we'd lose our place in the automatic promotion spots this weekend so I'm chuffed we've actually managed to extend our lead.

Watford Ticket Details
saints_is_the_south replied to Berkshire Saint's topic in Saints Away Supporters
Rubbish allocation but it will be Watford who will be missing out financially, we could easily take 3/3.5k up there and there will probably be that in empty seats in the home ends. Looking forward to this one, Watford is always a good day even if we rarely ever get a result up there. -
Jonathan Spector picked up his 5th yellow of the season last night against Leeds so he'll be missing for them on Saturday (I think, unless there is a cut off date for 5 yellows suspensions).
-
Can't see anything other than a defeat for this one, would take a draw if offered it now for sure.
-
So Voldermort is appealing to the fans to support the club and get down to Fratton, he could have told them to not bother trying to pay for a ticket with their debit/credit cards!
-
119 career goals in 260 appearances, only 11 shy of a goal every other game. In the last 3 seasons for Doncaster in the Championship he's got 40 goals in 81 games, an excellent return by anybody's standards. And only 25, so he's not even reached the peak of his career yet. Great signing, and quite a bargain at £1.8m.
-
Leicester signed Delfouneso just before 12pm on the day of the game against us, and he featured on the bench. Assuming we get this deal done by the same time then Shar could play tomorrow?
-
They have, they reported it on Sky Sports News this morning.

The 5th Round Draw - Bolton at home (if we beat Millwall!)
saints_is_the_south replied to Colinjb's topic in The Saints
Stevenage away would be a new one. -
Massiv game, biggest of the season IMO. Lose and I can really see the promotion bid derailling big time. Win and it will put some breathing space between us and 3rd again. Will be a very nervy night for sure. Saints to go 2-0 up, Cardiff to get a goal back midway through the 2nd half and the last 20 minutes or so will feel like 20 hours as we desperately hang on for the win. All IMO!
-
England, chasing just 145 to win the 2nd test now 68-7. Doh.
-
Jumping the gun a bit before Saturday's game, but to be honest all I am really thinking about is Tuesday night;s against Cardiff which for me is the biggest game of the season so far. For what is a massive massive game I'd like to think the fans will turn out in force, and hopefully we can get a packed St Mary's for this one. Anybody heard anything on ticket sales so far?
-
Bart Richardson - Martin - Jaidi - Fox De Ridder - Ward-Prowse - Schneiderlin - Puncheon Lambert - Lee (if available, if not Guly) Subs: Davis, Stephens, Harding, Cork, Holmes, Reeves, Connolly/Guly If Lee has clearance to play, and is in a decent enough condition to start then chuck him in I say. Perfect game to get him involved in from the start and see what he can do. I'd also give Puncheon a start, he'll probably have a blinder against a former team and will offer us some width with De Ridder on the other side. Not overally bothered if we were to go out of the Cup but after a Monday a swift return to winning ways would be most welcome ahead of Tuesday's MASSIVE game.

I was under the impression that the parachute payments had already been earmarked to pay the CVA, or am I making this up?
