That was pretty predictable again... and a really worrying sign that we couldn’t beat a very poor Newcastle team. Today was the first time I’ve started to lose confidence in Hughes. To this point I’ve believed that it simply was due to having a very poor squad to work with and the problems were purely down to extremely poor player additions. But today Hughes got his tactics Terribly wrong. Elyounoussi Is very average and offers nothing, no trickery no pace and today some very poor decision making. I think we are carrying him at present. He should have been subbed a lot earlier and redmond put back to his normal position with Bertrand. Atmosphere is depressing at st marys. Club seems in a right mess and a stay away owner who isn’t interested in taking the club forward. He’s being fed by two complete bellends in reed and Krueger who still seem to getting a very easy ride. Just depressing and no idea what has to happen to change things. Bournemouth seem light years ahead of us.

The recruitment has been a shambles... we lack pace and power. How reed and Wilson can’t see this is unbelievable. Absolutely no creativity since loosing Tadic. How the hell are we going to score enough goals to keep us up. Don’t get me started on the defence.

When you watch Bournemouth play they have pace, power and athletic players....Reed should seriously take note of what’s going on down the road. We’ve got lots of very average and immobile players under reeds leadership. He seriously needs to go and shouldn’t be trusted with another transfer window.

Hughes isn’t totally to blame although I worry about his tactical skills and he hasn’t managed to rectify our defensive issues. But bang average player recruitment is the main problem. Reed is only interested in rough diamonds who he thinks he can sell on at a huge profit. This season we needed some experience and a leader to captain the team. There are no leaders in that team. We also lack pace and creativity. Basically whilst the club has a clueless and detached owner, two gutless muppets in reed and Krueger who only appear when the goings good and a manager who can’t sort out this team we deserve what we get.

Absolute garbage.... defence is a shambles. Hughes can’t help the garbage he’s been given by reed and co but yoshida is probably the best centre back we have and he’s been 4th choice in the past. Going to IKEA!!

We started really welll and got into some great positions but just didn’t have the quality of the final ball. Redmond and Bertrand were very good and the midfield balance seemed better. Right side was a concern with moi and Cedric not really being in the game. If moi was purchased for pace it was evident he didn’t have much. Time will tell. I didn’t get the tactics with long. He’s quick and Morgan and mcguire Are not but he hardly played on their shoulder and was often far to deep when we did get the ball to really pressure them. Hughes can only work with what he was although surprised that maya nor gabbi were on the bench unless injured. I think we’re in for another uninspiring season though... a bloated squad full of average players. Can only blame the owner and board for that... how reed is still there is very surprising.

Another terrible perfermance today. Absolutely no cohesion or leadership anywhere on the pitch and we really need an outfield captain. People have been raving about Hammond but did i miss something today or at the last few homes games i personally don't as yet he has improved our midfield. Patterson is not good enough yet..think thats about 5 missed chances in the last 2 home games. Lamberts head is dropping as he is simply getting no service whatsover. On a positive our defence looks better with trotman.

I went, it was a shambles. No cohesion anywhere on the pitch. Unfortunately you can't have luxury players on the pitch and Lallana is just to lightweight and lacks impact unless off the bench. Needs to play with some width and have someone who can get to the byline. Lambert needs something to go on!
