It is very interesting reading other fans forums after a loss or a draw at our place.Liverpool fans to their credit were very sporting and contructive,a while back after we took a point off Arsenal the comments were nasty and bitter ie second rate team,championship side,fodder etc. I think the Liverpool supporters are a more realistic crowd with great recent history and understanding of football.

Why dont our supporters lay off Guly in my opinion was part of the squad who got us to the PL,and is still an integrial part of a very good and exciting team.

I didnt realise he was playing until the missus pointed it out at half time.

He is pure class,tacticaly substituted when ahead.I would buy a season ticket every year to watch a player with his ability.He was involved in most attacks and has a telepathic understanding with Jrod.He is so comfortable on the ball,sometimes he gets caught,but draws out opposing defences to create openings for others.On several occasions yesterday he breezed past defenders as if they were not there,its been awhile since weve had a player capable of doing that.......plus he's only going to get better!

We have the ability to turn the game around,we have much talent on the bench,we have had a few weeks rest,Newcastle will tyre...i hope!

Personally i am loving this season,i know Saturdays result was a setback,but the previous 3 games i felt we have been excellent.Apart from suspect substitutions in the Man U game i think the manager has been spot on,not just this season but the previous seasons in the lower leagues,i think hes as good as we need.Its going to be an exciting year,and with the promising football we have shown so far,id like to think we will survive at this level........It was not long ago i followed a replica coffin around the streets of Southampton on a deminstration to how badly the club was being run,so to be in this league someone somewhere is making the right decisions.

Coventry fans showed great humility,their support for the blues yesterday was outstanding,considering the circumstances they were playing under.They were superb towards our fans in our success,and i know we all wish to see them back in the Premiership with us in the future.

This lad should get a really encouraging reception next time he appears for Saints,even as a sub.He seems to have been demonised.In view of what has happened to Gary Speed recently no one should have to take some of the crap that has been posted.I dearly hope he plays next Saturday....and has a blinder.
