  1. If this thread was closed, another would soon take its place as this is still an ongoing matter.
  2. I guess the one in the Itchen is a bit plusher than the Kingsland/Northam
  3. I expect us to be top two by Christmas. As others say at the moment things are so tightly bunched that positions are still not that important, but if we keep working away we'll make that gradual creep towards the top. As long as we are in the top two come next May then i'll be happy.
  4. I think I read if CVA payments are missed then any creditor can apply for them to be liquidated or something to that effect.
  5. And holmes had a pretty good chance at the end. Could have quite easily been 5 or more today.
  6. I agree. If we can retain our current crop of defenders there is no reason they cant be good enough in the Championship IMO. Hopefully Chaplow can regain his form and then that gives us much more depth in Midfield. Just need to sort out the right wing and strikers.
  7. NOt worth running a park and ride for four fans
  8. I'm pretty sure if other Saints players had been arrested it would be in print somewhere by now.
  9. I'll have to find a season ticket holder! Great deals though. http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10280~2176563,00.html
  10. Good shout but we are equally short on right backs. I'd use this as an opportunity to get some extra width. Put in Dickson down the left and lallana can play just behind rickie.
  11. I'll be here. I'll have to think of something interesting to say.
  12. I read the paper and it doesn't say it's a doorman as far as I can see. It's a mate of the cage fighter bloke who was attacked on the dance floor before walking outside where he was treated by the staff at the club.
  13. It is all down to individuals. I go to Germany a lot and the majority of people we meet are great but there is often one or two who aren't. I do also believe in what i call 'small country syndrome'. Wherever I have travelled in the world I have almost found the most hospitable and polite countries to be the smallest. When I was in Argentina people made little effort to help out with the language, despite my best efforts and were quite standoffish in many places. However when we crossed into Uruguay the people were completely different. They even stopped at Zebra crossings. Just one theory I have though.
  14. Interesting to see Norwich who obviosuly finished top only had one more point than us at this stage last year.
  15. Bournemouth with not a single shot on target. Not great to see we only had three though, but overall pleased with the performance. Need to start scoring in open play. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/eng_div_2/9036445.stm
  16. I know people are saying it's not a derby etc as there's no history blah blah blah, but all rivalry/derby games have to start somewhere and I for one enjoy the banter etc rivalry brings. It's only a few idiots who get carried away and take it way too seriously. After all we should get used to rivalry's against lower league clubs as the way things are looking this could be the norm for a while. Just enjoy it!
  17. I think that is a great post and has got me thinking. I can kid myself into thinking the championship, League 1 is great etc, but the only place I want to see the saints for the long term is the premiership. It frustrates the hell out of me when I see teams such as Bolton, Stoke etc in the Premiership, when what i'm really thinking is that should be us. Yes it may cost more, but I think i'd pay £35 a time for league 1 if you told me we'd have 30,000 there. I think the old scenario of getting to the premiership and being the whipping boys is changing. The premiership will obviously always be dominated by a couple of teams at the top but as the start of this season has shown anyone is beatable. I want Saints to be in the Premiership and if that costs so be it.
  18. Gggggggguuuuuuuuuullllllllllllyyyyyyyyyy!!!!!!!!!!
  19. Only mortgage interest if offsetable againts income, not any capital payments. So unless it's a £600 a month interest only mortgage you'd have to pay tax on the £600 minus mortgage interest.
  20. If your Mum is willing to do this she could just buy the house and put it in your name from the start. You could themn pay her the rent as you had suggested. I have no legal knowledge but sounds plausible.
  21. Not long till October now. I for one am hoping he can provide a bit more width from right full back. Hopefully if Dixon can get a run in the team and perform much better than against bournemouth they can be the solution to our narrow play.
  22. I have seen all our home goals. I've only made it to two matches so hopefully come October when my schedule frees up a bit we'll be back to our scoring ways. Actually been to four games - obviously blocked out Bolton & Swindon for some reason.
  23. no. I predict next goal for us will be a penalty
  24. This is the greatest cheese i've ever tasted. http://trucklecheese.co.uk/cheese/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=1_2_6&products_id=6
