I was a bit sceptical at first but as others point out you really want to have two qulaity players in each position. We now have two good left backs and Mills was always a midfielder until we needed him to move back to cover a while back. IMO we now need a right back, a right/CB (Wayne Thomas but better), two centre midfielders and Antonio.

Right out of interest i've just been round a few other League clubs website to see how well they are communicating what is going on at the club to their fans. Nearly all of them have either meaningless articles about the mascot or just the regular pre-world cup non club related build up stuff. Saints are no differenet to nearly every other club in that this is just a time of year when not a lot happens.

I'm sorry Alps but the pre-season doesn't even begin for another three weeks or so. The people we bought in Januray proved to be pretty handy when coming straight into the team so I dont think a full pre season is even necessary. You may have a very slight point in three weeks but you are pointless now.

I think we are fine with the three we have, if they are backed up by a good loanee. If anything happens re injuries then we can revisit it in January. Number one priority is a right back
