Pearson for me is an appreciation of a real football man and at that early stage could at the most be construed as infatuation. But you and Lowey ( not a real football man) now, I see that as true love nick and good luck to you and your little group. I admire loyalty but not to the detriment of the mighty Saints that is when things need to change, wether you like it or not. If you and your little group need time to confer as you seem to have a group group approach on the various threads. Please be more gentle in your love. Just my impression or am I going out of my mind. Hope you love the Saints, even just a little.

Every time an Anti-Lowe poster posts, a puppy dies
ottery st mary replied to Alain Perrin's topic in The Saints
You and Alain appear to be concerned, is that for the Saints, the puppies or for Lowey? Wheres nickh or G when you need them for support. -
No more room for debate or opinion as john B has already decided that Lowey will have 3-4 years to allow his strategy to work. This was given without any explaination as to why this would be appropriate in a financial sense as any other person put in charge of any section of Lowey empire would be given 3-4 weeks. It may show your mindset john B but then again a short explaination might sway me from 3-4 weeks to 3-4 months. Pearson 13 weeks and Lowey deserves from here to eternity bit unfair to me. All I really want before October is a couple of wins or I will ask his little group to dethrone the old boy before it is too late.

You really do not know the full facts or who made the decision about signing this lad or a few of the others at that time. Sorry, you obviously meant the sale to Arsenal. Silly, me not knowing anything about football.

When we nicked him from another/or when he chose to leave at a certain age and join our academy the other club (Oxford or Swindon) lost out on mega bucks. I think he had also trained at Chelsea for a short while. We were lucky to have him and help his development and in return he gave back to us on the pitch and in the bank account. Thank you Theo and good luck. Sell on clause.. I don't know the rules but hey ho as they say. The next Paine,Chivers, Channon, Shearer, MLT, Wallace, Bridge, Williams, Bale, Walcott is just round the corner. There was me thinking our youth policy had only just started and not been running since the CPC days. Some of you will know what I am talking about. Not forgetting good old Don Roper to Arsenal and John Sillett and Charlie Livesey to Chelsea all a long time ago.

Alpine always means well and more often than not he is right. Especially when he agrees with me. He is a fellow poster/Saints supporter and entitled to his say. Come on you Gielguds, go with the flow.

Wotton showed he was a very good pro at Exeter at centre half and would do a good job as holding midfield. Cork is a choice for holding midfield or right back. Spiderman is not ready for emergency centre back and should stay in his position in holding midfield. Exeter game proof enough. With the injuries etc I would go for James Wotton Perry Surman back four. I do not think Skacel is fit enough to start yet. Cork and Spiderman holding midfield.. Gillet bench and see in mid week.. needed rest or rethink. Not forgetting I still think James is a more natural central midfielder in which case Cork for James who could then vie with Gillet for middle. Come to think of it as I do not see them train it may be best if I left this to JP and I stayed in the stands. Job done my plum.

Saints win 3-1 but only if you play Cork and Wotton. Oh yeah, with the other nine as well, it might help.

Wotton now he is fit will answer a lot of the problems. Sorry, forgot and Cork.

96 goal scoring chances in our first 6 games
ottery st mary replied to dubai_phil's topic in The Saints
I have double checked and can only make 95 chances and therefore you are right a slight exageration. -
I was under the impression you were Arthur Lowe or Oscar Wilde.

Jan, how long has he got? (not looking for an arguement)
ottery st mary replied to Thorpe-le-Saint's topic in The Saints
The in- laws said they would stick with me a little longer. That is until closing time. The others are very similar to most Saints fans in that there willing to give JP until at least half time in the QPR game. With gentle persuasion and a few of my stories about Mr Branfoot and they have given JP until full time and thats only if we win. Like everyone I can't wait for the games to get underway but dearly hope we start getting points on the scoreboard. Bring back Woggy and the tea Lady Ethel and the corners please. Onwards and upwards. -
I have also received a message from Billy Bremner who also staes he will not be playing for Mr Burley. Something about no spirit.

Cider my dear boy and the other 7 fans with me all agree with my posts as I am the chairman of this particular Saints supporters group and I am buying the drinks. But they all agree you have mellowed over the last few days. -
Not all Burleys fault. The passion has been slowly draining from the Scots since that battle was filmed and they had to get that Australian to play the lead role as they could ne find a Scotsman with enough spirit and fight. The Scottish management is as bad as the England side and you know as sure as eggs are eggs we will go and mess it up and let the scots fans back at us.

Richard was a very good footballer, very good teacher, sports and other, very nice bloke and ended up as a deputy head as TDD stated and a senior security/sreward type for Saints. All tittle tattle but stated because you were mentioned as knowing nothing about football and would not listen when I tell you the score. Anyway before you get out of your pram, I have had serious words and put the matter right and told him you have learnt a little from the prof and that you are now described as being reasonably knowledgeable about the mighty Saints. In the meantime lets get behind the team and get a few results.

If it helps I think Pele had some scottish in him once. It was a centre half but for the life of me I can't remember if it was Yeats or Bremner.(wing half)
-
Cheers prof Deep down I love them all and trust they will do there best for us all. Have a word and try to get the other lot back on board it might help in the long run. More results needed soon.

In that case I'II have a drink in your pub in Southampton I'II be there soon.

Parents lack of supervision of said child in or out of your premises. Talk to social services. Mind you that could be a lot of parents to-day. Ps I am coming to WSS very soon we could have a supporters forum meet and a few beers. Name the road and I'II be there. Plus I want to really hurt myself in tour play area and get your brewery to pay out at the same time. Bloody solicitors. Mind you I could use the same brief.

Good old Richard and a senior steward for many years. I used to play football with Richard in our earlier years and a true Saints fan like you Tdd.
-
You and Alpine that was a joke. Now you as a Saints fan is great to hear. The rest is never going to be black and white. Let us all hope for the best sorry I have been a bit cynical lately but apparently someone has said it all ends on Wednesday and I really wanted to see how the season was panning out after Sept/Oct. Ps did you know Richard Donohoe at school as he was at Bellemoor when you were ther I believe.

Solicitors/ Barristers to blame for all this. I have no time for the judiciary and as in your case the decision could go anyway/whichway and that is why your firm will settle out of court. These solicitors in your case are to be looked at closely. Even in criminal court cases the lawyers/magistrates/judges make some funny decisions but then again we have done that to death. Rhyme or reason springs to mind. Is there absolute proof it happened on your ground or did kid run in the blackberry bushes the other side of the boundary. You must have a witness on your side who saw the true incident. Your witnesses are as good as their non witness.
-
I would hope there would be some sort of 12 hour warning buzzer so I can get ready and finish the washing and ironing that I usually do on Wednesday. Not sure the wife will let me change days regardless of my argument.

Andrew Davies has 2 reserves games at Stoke and is on a loan for 3 months to us in order that he can get up to speed for the premiership at the same time we loan Pulis back to Soke so he can get up to speed and when he returns we can start paying him to see if he is good enough. In the meantime Olly Lancashire may well be the answer. But whatever happens I would hope Cork plays.
