I would've thought it's highly unusual to have not opened talks over a new contract by now. Especially when he's a player who is a good as he is.

Lovren was a very good defender for us - But I'm surprised he was the only centre-back Liverpool signed - I thought they needed a couple at least.

If we don't sign him up, I might actually cry if he leaves on a free transfer.

What's really messed Rickie up is them signing Balotelli who covers the "physical" role that Rickie was primarily brought in for. It would've been healthier for Rickie if Liverpool signed Remy instead who can operate wide if needed. I don't think Balotelli was on Liverpool's radar when they signed Rickie in the 1st place.

Would agree with that - I think this season, and with the central midfielder's that England have lost, Corky just needs to play regularly for us and he'll be in the squad.

Poor Sir Rickie will be 4th choice when Origi turns up there next year.

Regardless of whatever monkfish means, I think it would be naive to think that the people behind that company would make their 1st sounding out to clubs the day that they announce their operations Sky report says they 1st sounded out Spurs in December.

I believe our friend monkfish is hinting that the people who want to buy Spurs were interested in us.
