  1. Kagawa would be a much better fit for us.
  2. Agree completely, Minty. In no way is it realistic, but a Coutinho / Oxlade-Chamberlain type would be perfect.
  3. The Gunners look in a great shape - Who'd have thought it after the start they had? I'd question the depth at the back and up front, but their midfield is fantastic. Ramsey looks like a £25m player, Ozil is on another level. Flamini going back was a master stroke though, he allows all the others to go and play. I think Chelsea just have needed time to find their balance in midfield. So many attacking midfielders. They are still lacking that top striker. I think Spurs need more time to gel. What's surprising about them is that 2 of their best players this year has been Sigurdsson & Townsend - Not many people would've predicted that. I thought Martinez would do a good job at Everton - I expected them to play nice stuff but wondered where their end product would be - but I think their deadline day business really took them onto another level. I'd agree about Hull looking good - Bruce is a pretty solid manager in this league, IMO.
  4. If the Don got me a tie, I'd mention it a lot too. Cheers for writing up the interview, Saint-Armstrong.
  5. We were mentioned as having an interest in the Mirror the other weekend. (For what that's worth)
  6. Would agree with this.
  7. Hope trousers is ready to take some notes on this.
  8. Would've thought somebody from the EPPP should've been on this. But fair play to Dyke for attacking this problem head-on.
  9. On a somewhat related note, I saw we got casually name dropped as having an interest in Zaha on loan in January.
  10. Throw De Bruyne in and I'll consider it.
  11. Isn't that report referring to Coentrao's demands? Regardless, I'm fairly sure every team is looking at Shaw. He's been fantastic for us.

  13. Fantastic 3pts. Thank god we scored. Delighted for Dani and Sir Rickie. Can't wait for MotD.
  14. Wasn't he on trial at the same time as Egil Ostenstad?
  15. Yeah, isn't that just the old Chelsea 4-5-1 formation?
  16. Simon Peach ‏@SimonPeach Good move for both parties. #ReadingFC covering Sharp's entire wages in a loan move I understand will last until January.
  17. Fair point... I was thinking of the home game where Bart one of the shakiest games ever & the miserable televised game up at their place.
  18. Holloway's teams seem to always cause us problems. Can remember Blackpool always making it tricky for us. This is a golden chance for us to pick up our 1st home win in the prem for what feels like ages. The West Ham & Sunderland games have been really frustrating - Hopefully the result is much like the Villa result at St Mary's last season which was a real launching pad for our season.
  19. Some early Bristol City build-up talk:- http://www.bcfc.co.uk/news/article/20130923-bitesizesouthampton-1071905.aspx? http://www.thisisbristol.co.uk/story-19833561-detail/story.html?#axzz2fj3p3VrW
  20. Will be interesting to see if we keep any of the 1st XI. I imagine we could well do a clean sweep (Depending on Fox's fitness) --------------DAVIS-------------- CHAMBERS--YOSHIDA--HOOIVELD--FOX ----------CORK---DAVIS---------- -------JWP---GASTON---GULY------- ---------------LEE---------------
  21. Well that was fairly magnificent - What an outstanding win. Great win for the boys. Now, if we can bag a few goals against Bristol City, it will set us up rather nicely for Palace.
  22. Had a premonition of this move earlier when I read about Harry Redknapp saying that Reading pay good wages, since QPR missed out on both Baird & Bridge to them. (Coming from QPR, that's quite some statement).
  23. Starts for Valencia vs Swansea. On ITV 4 now.
  24. this!
