solentsport@solentsport Doncaster boss Paul Dickov confirms he made an enquiry about Billy Sharp two weeks ago to #saintsfc and is waiting to hear back.
-
Confirmed he's signed for Norwich. Will be interesting to see how he does.
-
I think you're probably right. The price quoted seemed crazy low to me.

Yeah, I heard that, Ottery. Think I read Alan Nixon linked him to Doncaster, Burnley & I think Celtic. Agree with this. Clint Hill & Mackie are the kind've players they need to get back up IMO.
-
Mackie signs for Forest. Wonder where Billy Sharp is going to end up now? - Reading?
-
Lets be honest - That would be crazy Osvaldo has the advantage of scoring goals in both Spain & Italy though.
-
Dan, would you go for Damiao over Osvaldo?
-
"Reports in plenty of papers this morning claim West Bromwich Albion are close to signing Udinese striker Matej Vydra on a season-long loan. Vydra impressed during a loan spell at Watford last season."
-
Or Osvaldo. Makes sense - 3 players to strengthen the spine.
-
Turned the tv on earlier and literally saw a 10 sec preview. Saw Nicola talking about wanting Top 10, and that the full piece will be shown from 6am tomorrow morning.
-
(Just for the record, as we were linked) Nottingham Forest FC@Official_NFFC #NFFC have announced the signing of Olympiacos winger Djamel Abdoun for an undisclosed fee.
-
Ha ha! - That's quality! - Can we add Simon Gillett to that list too?
-
I'm pretty sure I now know how Spurs fans have felt for the last few windows. Internacional seem to recycle the same kind've stuff every few weeks.
-
Will be curious to see how he does in the Prem, but I wouldn't want him now. Think we're after higher level quality.
-
"Napoli will unveil Gonzalo Higuain later today, but that doesn't mean Rafa Benitez's striker search is necessarily over. The prospects of Porto's Colombia star Jackson Martinez also pitching up at San Paolo are said to have increased, with Italian media reporting that a 32million euros bid could be enough to seal a deal"
-
I'd be surprised if Spurs and Liverpool aren't still looking at him
-
Cool. Hope we get a nice transfer update
-
Haven't they got a new £££'s owner?
-
Because it came from Simon Peach (Who was the origin of this rumour in the 1st place)
-
I don't get why Peachy didn't just tweet who it was?
-
From Graeme Bailey in SKY's transfer chat: Q: What's the latest on Southampton? Been very quiet since Wanyama joined and have been more rumours of players going out such as Ramirez and Lambert ? A: I don't think Southampton can be underestimated at the moment, they have made some excellent new signings and I think Vincent Wanyama is a wonderful buy. I still expect them to make at least one more decent buy, if not two.
-
Agreed. That's the problem when we mention Banega/Osvaldo/Damiao in a press conference. Whilst it's amazing to mention them, if you don't land them, it's a bit of a let down. Was delighted when we got the Wanyama deal done, but eager to improve the creativity/fire-power side of the team.
