Whilst we all hope that striker is Damiao, I suppose it's arguable that it could be Scott Sinclair to replace Mayuka.

I'm surprised too. But pleased he's still there to toughen up & get 1st team football with Derby. Best thing for him really.

Dug this old post out. Just watched him get MotM vs Blackburn. Such a neat & tidy little player. Big future ahead of him.

Nixon also saying Sharp is Burnley's No.1 striker target. Hard to tell if it would be permanent or a loan.

Might want to get itchen_dan to confirm, but from looking at Alan Nixon's timeline, there seems to be talk (or assumptions) about Mayuka *maybe* joining Wigan on loan.
