  1. Sorry Turks - that one's a bit subtle for me!
  2. Isn't he still of Southampton until the end of June? I doubt if Liverpool are paying him until July.
  3. Nearly all players go for far more than they are worth. Why should AL be an exception? The Board's responsibility is to do what's best for this club - not what's best for Liverpool or AL
  4. This does not read like sarcasm in which case I agree with you.
  5. Absolutely - people on here are always under-valuing our players
  6. Woy might be correct but he should not be articulating it. That is the point at issue.
  7. It is interesting speculation - but is just what it is - speculation!
  8. Why are we selling key players before we have appointed a manager?
  9. What statement could they have made to give you confidence that would not have been dismissed as "just talk" by the the Grandees of this forum?
  10. Anybody can be positive in that situation so I think that the remark was perfectly fair.
  11. That is exactly what I am saying. Save the dummy spitting until we see the actual outcome in terms of manager and players
  12. If Katerina is not fully committed to seeing the club develop and move forward - not just stand still - then it is best for her and us that she sells. It is, after all, a highly saleable asset. If she is committed then this is the first major set-back that they have had and we have to judge on the outcome - not start spitting dummies half way through the process.
  13. A huge backward step - he is yesterday's man.
  14. I have absolutely no idea why so many are keen on Laudrup after his exit from Swansea and the reasons for it. Pretty much anybody but Laudrup for me.
  15. How much loyalty do supporters show to managers or players when things are not going well?
  16. Have you managed to do that yet?
  17. And of course he is totally incapable of learning from that. He still beat us twice.
  18. Apart from having the best win % of any Spurs Manager (admittedly on only half a season but you can only win the games that are there) what exactly has he done wrong?
  19. With the exception of Newcastle, where he was not given enough time, Allardyce has a record that would stand anybody's scrutiny and was using Sports Science at Bolton more or less ahead of the pack. Like Pulis he is an effective rather than a "pretty" manager.
  20. .. or one of your other 24 sources
  21. Disagree - unprofessional
  22. Real Madrid? Who struggled to get the ball past him. A superb goalkeeping display that evening
  23. Nor me!
