Excellent summary....

Some excellent performances and some who are never going to be good enough. Those being McQueen, Romeu who needs far too much thinking time and generally lacks skill, Davis is completely finished now but then most of knew that. Target, Gabbiadini, Austin, Prowsy and most of all Armstrong, Holg, all were class. Gunn looks cool too.

Just been on the pathetically terrible Southampton FC web site. Have never seen anything quite as hard to navigate and find basic ticket information on. It wants you to register too ... Laughably bad, I didn’t bother to go after having to jump too many hurdles to find out the ticketing arrangements ... Crap

Agree with Hoedt not sure about Stephens as much though. I was a bit surprised how poor McQueen was against Derby ... I would just bother with him again, woeful marking....

England were pretty poor. Southgate’s ‘if your face fits’ team was nowhere near good enough. What is Southgate thinking - trying to say that he has ‘united the nation’ at a time of disunity!!! As with his team and irrational over inflated view of the team’s success he is deluded and arrogant to make such a statement not to say completely wrong... Allardyce would have made a better fist of it.

Decent player who gives 100%, however Lakisha won just about every header against him in the box which is where we struggled last year ourselves. As soon as. Belgium started crossing towards Felani and Lukaku there was nothing or no one to stop them. Sorry but what makes you think there is a succession plan?

The more I think about this the more I think we should make a huge effort to keep Tadic... Used correctly i.e. NOT on the right wing he is a great asset and we would seriously not replace him for less than 30m..if at all... Yet again he is one of our best players, the club really should encourage him to stay another year to ensure that for once we can properly succession plan as it appears we are prepared to let one of our best players leave again without any replacement in the door... I do like the look of Sims, however as yet despite having opportunities we haven’t yet given him enough playing time to rely on him as a successor.... We need another year from Tadic - we are not ready or able to let him go yet...imo...

Not sure a Premiership team can afford to give a player ‘a go’ invade he comes good.... He will need to prove himself worthy of ‘another’ go before just being given a place.
