God my next door neighbour could keep Sterling in her pocket ! Not the best commendation!
-
Decent player who gives 100%, however Lakisha won just about every header against him in the box which is where we struggled last year ourselves. As soon as. Belgium started crossing towards Felani and Lukaku there was nothing or no one to stop them. He has had lots to offer but we need more height in our back three - that’s Saints back three of course....

We always sell low apart from VVD. The rest went cheap and so has Tadic. -

Sorry but what makes you think there is a succession plan? -

The more I think about this the more I think we should make a huge effort to keep Tadic... Used correctly i.e. NOT on the right wing he is a great asset and we would seriously not replace him for less than 30m..if at all... Yet again he is one of our best players, the club really should encourage him to stay another year to ensure that for once we can properly succession plan as it appears we are prepared to let one of our best players leave again without any replacement in the door... I do like the look of Sims, however as yet despite having opportunities we haven’t yet given him enough playing time to rely on him as a successor.... We need another year from Tadic - we are not ready or able to let him go yet...imo... -
He heard me!
-
Just no-not good enough for us and not in Tadic’s class. Continuously runs into dead ends without releasing the ball...

Not sure a Premiership team can afford to give a player ‘a go’ invade he comes good.... He will need to prove himself worthy of ‘another’ go before just being given a place. -
Shaq just not good enough. Hadn’t looked at him for while and wondered if he had greatly improved given the recent hype over him. Sadly he hasn’t at all.....
-
Cedric .... Oh dear oh dear o dear... Never engages the attacker ever... Rabbit in headlights

Who do you reckon our first signing will be and when?

I take it you are referring to the Chairman lol -
God really .... fine ...

If you really really believe this ‘initiative’ will see England improve then jolly good luck to you! Personally I don’t believe in fairy tales. Two weeks off in February changes every thing?
-
So a two week break will help the England team - and how will that work.... Pure populist propaganda and nothing else!
-
Hoedt is not a premiership player in my view. Replace with nearly anyone ....
-
Why are you so contrite and defensive of the staff at SFC? FF has been terrible and certainly not coached on how to improve. That is a given.... Or he would have improved significantly. Mc Carthy I would guess is doing his own thing as his movement and coming for crosses is entirely at odds with FF. Most people can see an gulf between the two styles so who is the coach coaching - it is clearly no both of them...

The buck stops with Kruger at the end of the day and he is with monotonous regularity proving that he just cannot manage this club with any confidence and authority. Every time a leaf blows off the tree in his path it is mountain to him that he can never climb so he just turns around, falls asleep and hopes the leaf will blow away because he ain’t going to find his way round it.... If he didn’t keep putting up the BS smoke screens it wouldn’t be quite as bad but he just continues his weak propaganda messages that mean the sum total F all.... I am actually starting to feel for Less Reed having to work with this individual....
-
So signing for a club with no Manager is attractive then is it? The longer it goes without a contract the more risk there is that something could go wrong and we are left in the lurch again... These are lessons we should have learnt by now. There is no scenario where I can see an advantage to prolonging the issue of not having a Manager in place....
-
This is just bloody ridiculous. It can’t take that long to sort out a contract... What on Earth goes on at this club that’s always so bloody difficult .... I’m afraid the buck stops at the top with Kruger not Less Reed !!! (Spelling mistake meant!) The top man’s BS is now becoming very tiresome indeed. He is so slow off the mark - ponderous, a man of little action and a mountain of BS.... Getting things done ‘Quickly’ he doesn’t know the meaning of the word.... Things go on around him which he is often just oblivious to and he doesn’t react to.... All the time! He just seems always to let things slide and we are all left wondering what the hell is going on and guess what, mostly it’s nothing....! I am really not sure we can contually blame LR, the decisions are made at the top and increasingly they are laboured and indecisive. Increasingly it seems we are held back by the man who insists on calling us a small club, it’s time he moved over, his skill level at heading up a football club is a light year away from Cortese...
-
I think you are stretching the imagination somewhat if you think negotiating a contract for an employee who has now had a 10 week trial should not be sorted! This type of unproductive dithering happens far too often in this club... We are not decisive and the business/club suffers as a result.
-
Yawn ..... we do provaricate terribly in these situations and I wonder why. Indecision is generally our philosophy, it is even a disease that gravitates to our forwards.... Christ we even had a trial period to prepare a contract, however I would guess very little preparation was done. We are often not prepared for situations and dither our way past the finishing line .... Last summer was the ultimate joke with the indecision over Puel.... Our Chairman doesn’t really get things done because like the developing deteriorating situation with Pellegrino he doesn’t see issues arising and cannot see ahead...

A high proportion of those games were top six, including the champions. Hughes started from ground zero with a team devoid of tactical direction and leadership. He had to find out who had the mental strength and skills required to stay up, none of those players were his. He had the enormously untalented Carillo to call on and the incredibly rude, arrogant none team player Boufal that were not available. The tactics had to be completely changed to suit the players he did have to Choose from and Hughes had to make the players understand the new philosophy. Hughes was effective in doing all this as well as distinctly improving the whole performance of the team not to mention the also the players individually. I really do not believe many people could have walked in and galvanised the players and tackled all the other issues so well .... Mark Hughes has a passion to succeed, a bonding with the fans, respect from the players (which is quite different from being ‘liked’ by the players!) and the skills to recognise which of his players should be selected, his mind is not on a railway track when it comes to tactics Mark Hughes has therefore demonstrated fully all the assets you need to make it work at Saints. Oh and I don’t think for one minute he will be pushed around by any crap directors or ‘Goalkeeping’ coaches ! God forbid that we waste more money on a ‘Mate’ of a coach in Hart who is Forster in disguise... Hughes has done a very good job in the time and ticks a lot of boxes - give him credit....
