Agree.... Gabbi should be starting over Obafemi.
-
Oh nice one.. well done you !
-
Ok I will say what others are thinking but afraid to say. As a player I dislike Hoedt. I actually I am not a great fan of his personality either. So there - just an opinion but best out in the open... Cue the ‘I bet he doesn’t like you either quotes’ and ‘You don’t even know him’ quotes from the politically correct crowd.. Oh and the ‘call yourself a fan’ quotes too lol... Just answering the question ....

Apart from the fact that Romeu is just not good enough these days Hughes seems have personal issues with lots of players as it is only as a last resort that some get a look in despite the obvious form shown from those individuals and the total lack of form/skill shown by the current first eleven set in concrete player or players.... One of Hughes major failings seems to be his propensity towards favourites....
-
Hoedt will be back in on Sat and Obafami dropped, this why Hughes deserves no sympathy for his results. He doesn’t select players on form and performances.
-
Told ya
-
Steven Davis ????? Really Hughes?
-
Fair comment
-
To be fair he is really not good enough, however nor is Hoedt and we all know the story there, he will be the first name on the team sheet Saturday come what may...
-
Only one player for this position and that’s Stephens.... I’ve watched Valery a few times and he’s been a long long way from first team standard.
-
No the ‘flip side’ is still successful. The ‘Alternative’ is relegation and fading after 30mins from the first game to the last....
-
Agree with this except, Romeu who is no footballer.
-
If Austin is really better than our other options then Hughes is an incredible judge of a player because hardly anyone else can see it.....! We are very lucky to have Hughes it would seem!

You mean ‘Talk Top Six’ do you.... Not sure anyone listens to that anyway any more...... -
Everyone assuming Targett for Bert but this is Hughes remember, expect something completely odd....
-
A very odd remark to make about my post.... However you are correct I omitted to name Austin as a another poor substitution which from then on handed control to the opposition - not for the first time. There, I have helped you out to give your reply at least some context to my post...

This is a very precise analysis ... Hughes is very poor at personnel choices. They are invariably wrong... This symptom will not improve because Hughes proves every game that he cannot make the right calls. Therefore he needs to go. It’s takem him half a blinking season to realise Gabbi is one of our best players - that in its self is gross incompetence as well as the other blind spot in Yoshida bizarrely not being picked for half a season. Hughes is just not capable....
-
Most definitely...
-
That’s Gabbi dripped for next game !!!!! Guaranteed!!!
-
Can I have chips with that? (I’ll get my coat !)

Please please please get this - Boards are not there to chose tactics and football teams!!!! All companies have boards who know nothing the process at all! Boards run companies and make decisions based on measuring performance, that is all that counts and all that matters. Boards make decisions, they don’t put cones out ! Boards employ expertise - that’s what they do Get this into your head. Anyway if you believe most (not all) cone placers know what they are doing, again sadly you are wrong. Most ‘footbal’ people actually know very little indeed about football, sport, coaching or come to that most things, least of all how to manage a business. Again - yet again even, I refer you messrs Leibre and Cortese - turned out both had no football knowledge on their CV but seemed very good at Board level decisions despite that.
-
To be perfectly frank it makes not one jot of difference if Gao’s reps are knowledgable about running a Premier League club or not. None of this is rocket science. Ralph is now ‘experienced’ and is still astoundingly crap at it... Cortese has none of this experience and was really very good at it. Experience of running a successful business is more important.
-
Do you mean ‘this little club’ ?
-
Patently not the whole problem.... How about coaching and bizarre personnel choices?
