  1. Selling Cork was nothing short of a sin... The replacements are not in his league.
  2. Omg the oldest trick in the book! Be a teachers pet and get picked. I am not in the least surprised to learn this as Tadic is just nowhere near good enough for us and yet continues to get picked!!!! It's like playing with 10 men he has been woeful since Christmas last season...
  3. And lazy ineffective Tadic is top ten ???? However, as we have sub standard individuals we should have even more reason to protect the back four and keep it tight..... Surely we should have learnt that lesson after the Newcastle game....we are far too open....
  4. To get back on topic. Just watching Villa on the box and they are just as bad as last year!! Jose would be mad to even give it a second thought!
  5. Totally disagree with this comment... Just because he isn't a Fancy Dan doesn't mean he wasn't a very important player for us who was the oil in our engine.... It is interesting from time to time to watch certain players and what they do rather than the whole spectacle... You can learn and appreciate players good or indifferent in that way....
  6. Step up on Forster without doubt
  7. I saw what you did there - very good - a 'tad' !!!

    JWP

Interesting quote but have you actually watched Tadic closely he stands around, doesn't tackle, doesn't show for the ball and falls over almost every time a defender comes within 5 yards of him! Better than JWP I don't think so....
  9. Except Tadic who is a passenger....
  10. Correct! Tadic is way short of the quality required for us...
  11. A good player who was around ten times the player that D Fox was....
  12. Nice summary...... I would only add that Tadic is a very poor footballer indeed.... He was carried all game by his team mates....did nothing but stand and watch the game...oh and fall over a lot... Our worse player by a mile. Wanyama was totally outstanding as was Mane....
  13. The odd flash of quality is not enough for us nowadays..... Gaston is not good enough. He wasn't for us, wasn't for Hull and isn't for us now. He is careless with the ball and doesn't knit into a team.. Gaston is just not the wonder kid his billing lead us to believe ..
  14. Errrrr Fox was slated and rightly so - where were you?
  15. Danny Fox was truly dreadful it has to be said... Should never have ever played a single game for us...
  16. Excellent accurate appraisal .....

We do seem to be terribly amateurish at the contract side of the business... This kind of farcical element in players coming and going appears to have a repetitive theme..... If Les is in charge of these matters then he maybe needs to delegate this side of things.... We need to sharpen up if we are to progress both on and off the field..
  18. Pelle's flick on's are fancy flicks straight to the opposing team... They are basically useless...
  19. I doubt we have to pay anything up. I would strongly suspect he was in breach of contract. Also we would have had home here in the corner of a field training on his own if the contract was binding still which I very much doubt Osvaldo would want... Suspect he walked or was sacked for not turning up for training - again..... He was in so many contract breaches there is no way he would have been paid up...
  20. I don't see the logic of this proposal. If he's not good enough why would we keep him on any money? Using this logic - I would play for nothing so that makes a good business decision - well actually no because the money is not relevant, it's the skill that matters and Gaston plainly is not good enough....at any price....
  21. What you are conveniently forgetting is the massive amounts of money these guys are on so the comparison is not on a parallel at all. They can afford to be loyal and stick with their team mates and loyal fans. They move through greed not 'bettering' themselves because the jump to Liverhampton is a very small one these days. However football now is about a much different game than it was 30 years ago... It is consumed by greed and in Brenda's case arrogance we cannot not search for moral fibre in this game - in the words of a certain song we can sum up football's culture by Ignorance and Arrogance and Greed .....
  22. Made me laugh ;-))) good call
