Agree... We cannot continue with Pelle any longer...... Great teams don't play with big static target men...

Just watching two big sides in the Champions League playing and not a big tall static 'target Man' in sight. Should we embrace the modern ethos of smaller skillful quick players rather than how we currently play.....

One 'Worldie' does not make season! He has been poor..... I watched the Football League Show too and there are plenty of good goslkeepers in the lower leagues. Certainly they are not that much different to Forster. In fact there are plenty of 'Worldies' every week in those leagues... Forster makes one save and certain people remember and recycle it all the time which actually says it all. We have a great well organised defence and this is making Forster look a hell of a lot better than he actually is. Three shots on target and one 'save'. It's a recurring theme.....

Come on Koeman sort it out! We have a lot of good players and a couple who really are well short at the moment. Very worrying about the coaches not seeing the issues and acting on them. Pelle has issues which I have picked on before today and in recent weeks. He is destroying our attacks and giving us no options. He has to be dropped..... We change the way he plays or DROP HIM. He can't/wont run into space, there is no room for him in this team! As for Forster - well what on earth was that 10m about... A goalie in the Cubs would save as many shots as he does ..... It's got to the point where you are surprised if he saves anything on target.... We have great defenders totally let down down by this guy.... No wonder the defence work so hard to keep it tight with him between the sticks....

Come on no need to focus in one mistake. Taggart has a very good game except for the slip for the second yet again Forster should have saved! Our problems lie with Forster and My back to goal, make no runs Pelle....! Drop Pelle and get someone in there who will make runs in behind and FACE their goal ! Pelle is lazy, predictable and doesn't attack the ball in crosses... He must be dropped !

There is no way that Pelle should be picked for the next match. The coaches need to take a very harsh honest look at themselves, this system constantly having Pelle with back to goal like he inists on doing is NOT working so tell him to face the goal or DROP HIM or drop the coaches - one of the two !!!!

Forster must let in 50% of the shots that are on target! A very suspect goalkeeper

A lot of emotional clap trap. Lambert was fantastic for us, however, there is not jot of difference in the final outcome between him and AL. They both left! To compound the fact Lambert even says in his latest interview that everyone expected us to struggle.... With players and Poch leaving! Sinking ship anyone !!!!! Best to ignore them all and cheer like like we've never cheered before for our current players and team....

There seems to be a complete obsession with playing Pelle on here... Unless the coaches seriously get at him to change the lazy, predictable way he plays with back to goal standing right in front of his marker like a statue where he offers no threat... He needs to be told to change the way he plays. He has to FACE the opponents goal and make runs dragging the defence around. Our coaches need to be analysing the players and games much more thoroughly. IF we allow this style of his to continue the least we can do is get our players around him when the ball is humped to him with the regularity it is! Fluidity is lacking with the current 'system' and Pelle is a large part of the issue.... I hope we see something a lot different against Liverpool and the coaches start working out what is happening.... If Pelle is not doing as he is told or can't then we might as well play with a smaller more mobile player there who can face the direction of play, create space and lose their marker....

Can we not haul Pelle off ? Just asking .....?

Pelle really is not mobile enough. Fancy flicks to no one and predictable back to goal static play.... Needs to be dropped /rested ... He needs to make a step change to his game and make runs facing the opposition goal... Also just stays in the central zone far too much which is linked to the issue of back to goal.... A bit lazy actually ...

Btw. Jamie Carragher is right about Forster - again! This guy is SUSPECT! Bring back Boruc! Opposing teams know now too and shoot on sight....

The problem with Pelle is pretty obvious.... He doesn't make runs off the ball so he doesn't create space by pulling defenders around. This result is in the central area it is conjested and his positioning is very prodictable and he is very easy to mark. Really it is lazy play from him. By contrast Ricky used to run off towards the flanks pulling defenders all over the place and creating that space for others to work in. Certainly the coaches need to get a handle on this aspect of Pelle's play because it is hampering our attacking options...
