Pardew and Adkins were not treated 'shoddily' Cortese did what was best for the club and no one can deny he was right in this respect. He was ruthless yes but fair. We need a board who do what is best for the club and not one that thinks passively towards players saying they want to live out a boyhood dream. This is a club that is progressing and nothing should be allowed to hinder that. Cortese got that- I'm not sure this board do!

Clubs need to offer contracts that are based around wages paid up on completion of landmarks, otherwise they are fools which it has emerged we have been!!! Big style... Could anyone please explain why Morgan and JayRod are different cases to ones that have gone? Why suddenly is Kruger saying they cannot go but to let the others go was fine....??? They obviously want to do the same as the others???? Putting your foot down now seems bizarre. Wasn't the massive mistake letting SRL go in the first place? This management team just don't have any handle on the management of human beings.... Apparently they knew before the World Cup who wanted to leave but we are now just two weeks or so from the first league game and we have brought in precisely two players..... Why so slow to react? Why no plan to replace players we were clearly planning on selling after the World Cup ?
