  1. Wait for Heisenberg to turn up... then the negativity will start.
  2. You have changed your tune since Monday and your postings on the Shaqiri thread. Anyone would think you were a troll if they didn't know better
  3. I picked the last 7 because the point which was made was that he went missing when Stoke needed him. A relegation battle and the last 7 games is surely when a player is needed.
  4. Hang on a minute. Mickey said that Shaqiri went missing when Stoke needed him most. In the last 7 matches when Stoke were battling against relegation and needed him most Shaqiri contributed 1 assist. At the same time over our last 7 matches Tadic scored 3 goals. I think that shows who went missing .... and it wasn't Dusan. Anyone would think that you were not a true supporter of Southampton by the way that you distort statistics to knock the club and our players .
  5. Not much chance of him learning anything. He would just copy and paste huge chunks out of the textbook.
  6. Nice to see that Pompey Poly only taught how to make horrible chemicals and didn't teach you anything about logical, reasoned debate.
  7. I am not sure whether in the light of your subsequent posts you still stand by this post but you ask me what I believe your case to be. Over many months you seem to post graphs which you believe show that Britain is booming. That is how I interpreted your most recent posts. The stock market is apparently doing well and the currency is strong in your eyes. Sherlock and other posters ( it seems that you do not like criticism so you have them on ignore ) have pointed out that the world economy generally is booming . Other stock markets are growing and international comparisons show that the Ftse is lagging its international rivals. Your posts seem to ignore this international dimension - perhaps because it destroys your argument. Similarly none of your currency graphs seem to show the depreciation in sterling following the Brexit vote. The Euro is doomed in your eyes yet it is 30% stronger aginst the pound than it was 10 / 15 years ago and more than 10% stronger than it was before the Brexit vote. None of your graphs on currency ever seen to show this decline in sterling. They do not start before June 2016. Do you travel abroad? Have you tried recently to buy a coffee in Berlin or a meal in America? If you have you would appreciate the poor value of sterling. The Brexit vote seriously weakened sterling and has done so for over 2 years - yet you seem not to acknowledge this. Daily Express readers like highly partisan , selective "facts" but we are not all like them. Why not take people who you disagree with off ignore? You may not like their arguments but it will make you a more rounded individual. In short you have a habit of planning down graphs and one sided data which mislead and you expect people to believe. We are not all Daily Express readers on here !
  8. It is unbelievable how he presents information that weakens his case yet he believes that it strengthens it .
  9. The last paragraph here is unfortunately oh so true. Today Rees Mogg's investment firm has warned clients about the financial consequences of Brexit on the British economy. Funny that they believe in "Project Fear". The chairman if Vote Leave Nigel Lawson, is taking out French residency. He wants Need it but he doesn't want to actually live in Britaun. It is all right for everyone else to suffer it but not him!! Oh well. At least Brexit means that "We got our country back".
  10. Why do you think so many of us who were full members cannot be bothered to renew ?
  11. ... and what exactly has that to do with the price of fish ? As the New York Times states Trump has an uncanny ability to pick fights with his friends and embrace long standing enemies. Let's hope that the jihadists's much anticipated trade deal between the US and UK doesn't get shafted by the vagaries of such an erratic president.
  12. The OP has a point ... Who needs the support of liberal "luvvies" and democratic politicians like Justin Trudeau when you can have lovely friends like dictator Kim Jong Un. Do you know that without him the opening ceremony at the last winter Olympics wouldn't have taken place ? Why do we bother to cosy up to politicians from liberal democracies ? It is surely a much better strategy to make friends with people who feed political opponents to live pigs?? The world is getting stranger and stranger … and I am not just talking about the OP.
  13. Why?? You really are a prize turnip. The sooner that you and all your various log ins are banned the better for this forum
  14. A good season , not the best but a very enjoyable one was 1977/78 when we returned to the top flight. We played good football and apart from the odd hiccup at placed like Blackburn (let's boo Bailey) we won loads. Good old Phil boyer.
  15. And then the winner of that argument could argue in the final with his other login to decide who is champion t osser.
  16. No problem. Once we have sold millions of shirts to the Chinese following our training camp there the deal will pay for itself.
  17. I was thinking exactly the same. There is the Welsh connection with sparky for a start and we are Gareths spiritual home after all. We could only pay him peanuts but he already has £70million according to the Sunday Times ( third wealthiest sportsman after Mclroy and Murray) so he could afford the pay cut if he liked the challenge. Go on Les. Prove the doubters wrong and get Bale.
  18. If (by some fluke) it had been JWP who had scored the winning CL goal or (more probably) Ox how would the Skates have reacted to a tweet like that? Born in Portsmouth but bred in Southampton.
  19. I agree entirely with this. Our squad is not lacking in quality and we have seriously under performed in the last 2 years. I also believe that we will see a more entertaining style of football. In the last 2 years I have been taking Mrs Tamesaint to SMS. She knew nothing about football but decided after watching Puel's team that the aim of football was to see how many different ways and how quickly a team could pass the ball back to the goalkeeper. The style got even worse under Mò Pe. It almost feels as if a 2 year nightmare has come to an end I am sure that things are going to improve.
  20. Les? Wally? I thought that you meant Batman. After all he has posted so many times on this thread (34 times) with his usual negativity you would have thought that he would have been first on here when there is a bit of good news.
  21. At the Liberty stadium I saw a sticker which I thought summed it all up. Paraphrasing it went along the lines of Liverpool football club Offended by everything Ashamed of nothing.
  22. Rumour has it that Pompey Poly are offering degree courses on this thread.
  23. That is far too sensible a post for many on this forum.
  24. ....yes. And neither of them has tried to answer the sensible question.
  25. Will you be watching them play at the same time as Glasgow is playing golf?
