Yep. If this is can be contained to a Hamas/Israel issue, with Hezbollah sticking their oar in, I think must would see that as the best outcome. I suspect (hope) that Iran's involvement will be the same as the US, ie financial and hardware support, but no direct involvement.

Doing that would be on a level of stupidity from a state that we've never seen before, and the response would be unimaginable. Iran would know that. What have they done to make anyone think that they'd do that? It seems that we're programmed to believe stuff like that.
  5. And no Piroe, or regular goal threat.
  6. Yep, exactly this.
  7. I've not seen anything to suggest that he knows how to sort it. With Ralph (at his best) the players moved and when we passed the players and the ball moved up the pitch, and we created. This brand of football is tedious and predictable...pass, pass, pass, lose ball. It seems that we have no obvious attacking plan.
  8. It doesn't have to be long ball, or pointless possession. What we need is some incisiveness to our play, more movement between the lines... basically to do more when we have the ball. I'm not bored typing about our football, but I get bored watching it.
  9. The whole point os to score more than the other team. That involves doing something positive with the ball, not just passing it around waiting to give it away.

What do we know that Iran have actually done directly (or could do) that endangers us? They seemingly supply militia groups/terrorists/Syria financially and otherwise, but in what ways do they directly pose a risk to the west? The US and Israeli could wipe out any aerial threat that they pose in a heartbeat.
  11. I admire your optimism, but our respective points tallies and performances give me zero confidence that we'll catch Ipswich or Leicester.
  12. Our points total indicates that we're not contenders for promotion. Sure, we make the play offs, but Huddersfield in 21st place are only 6 points of the play off places.

  14. Which of course nobody has said. Don't you want to see us make the most of our potential? Create and score chances? Show signs of improvement? Tighten up at the back?Play entertaining football? I sure as hell do.
  15. So AA is the modern day Tadanari Lee?
  16. Yep. The thing is we knew what we were getting from having watched Swansea, and from what their fans said. These players, played to their strengths, and with purpose to their play rather than pointless keep ball, would do bloody well. There's no way we should be 10 points behind Ipswich.

Biden has since downgraded violent settlers as perpetrators of "extremist violence", but did say "It has to stop. They have to be held accountable. It has to stop now". https://www.pbs.org/newshour/politics/biden-condemns-retaliatory-attacks-by-israeli-settlers-against-palestinians-in-the-west-bank

Cheers. I'm 15 mins in. Interesting that one of the fella's is ex Al-Qaeda, and the other a former 9/11 conspiracy theorist!
  19. Truth
  20. Yep, agree with that. On the face of it, a draw away to a team above is in the league was a decent result. The problem though is we were crap, again, and played ploddy football. We need a big improvement against Birmingham, and a convincing win.
  21. That's a long winded way of saying that you didn't see any improvements either. Thanks.
  22. So you swerve a question that addresses your own point. Not terribly helpful if you want a discussion, or expect people to listen to your point. I'll ask again. What improvements in our performance and / or tactics did you see last night?
  23. It was a response to your "we ain't got a time machine" comment. We have hindsight after games, and the opportunity to fix it. What improvement did you see last night?
  24. How about learning from the previous game, then making tweaks and improving?
  25. Yep. Who is switching it up in injury time? If it's RM, you'd like to think that he's capable of realising that what he's doing in injury time is a better plan than what he's doing in the 90mins beforehand.
