So the fool would want American Werewolf 2 in London, to be filmed in Chicago. That'll work.
-
The idiot seems to tweet the first thing that comes into his head.

Adults who do this "may the 4th" nonsense. You're not 12.
-
They've had no easy options for sure, and any decision impacts some portion of society. Hypo's point that I agree with is that they ain't appealing to either the left or the right. With a lame duck Tory party z they're leaving the door wide open for Reform..
-
Yep. It's hard to see who labour can appeal to at the moment. They were handed a shit hand, but they've played it badly.
-
Jesus wept. The fool gets dopier by the day.

72 seats suggests they're pretty popular. I don't know what a typical lib dem voter looks like, but I reckon that they'd do better if people didn't think they have to try to back the winner rather than voting for what they agree with/want.
-
Yep, and situations and decisions are imposed upon them that cause further financial woes, ie tribunal decisions obliging them to find expensive school placements, accomodating looked after children, social care, asylum seekers, etc. They have zero room for manoeuvre, and really their decision making is where to avoid/cut spending. Sad state of affairs.
-
Ha!! What do Lib Dem voters vote for?
-
Indeed. I've seen plenty of posts this morning from NHS needing, benefit supported, Trump haters, saying how great Reform are, and how we need them. I'm a man for democracy, but people really don't know what they're voting for.
-
Perhaps my prejudice led to my conclusion!!
-
I'm not sure how you drew that conclusion. He was merely saying that the idiot on the bike nearly caused an accident. As they often do. Without insurance against their monumental risk to other, insured, road users.
-
Indeed. In short, Trump didn't inherit a clusterfuck, whereas labour did.
-
The shrinking of the US economy is apparently all down to Biden, and nothing to do with his loopy policies. Bless.

That creates a 3rd category, ie recognising transgender people differently to male and females. We now clear definitions of male and female and I'm not persuaded that it's necessary to seek to introduce a 3rd category in some areas of society.
-
I appreciate you weren't making a direct comparison, but your point was that as we have toilets for neuro diverse people, then we can make it happen for trans people, ie giving competitive treatment. For me the two issues are wholly different, and I support dedicated loos for neuro divergent people, but not trans.
-
Interesting. There needs to be a proper look at kids who feel that they identify as a different sex. Some will be correct, but it's bloody complex, and and some may be acting out either deliberately or as a result of something going on.
-
@Sarnia Cherie the Trans/Neuro divergent comparison doesn't sit well with me. A 13 year old with Autism doesn't decide to have it. A 13 year old who decides to be another sex is making a decision, and one they cannot reasonably make imo.

Lighten up mate... pun intended.

You've missed the irony...fill fields with solar, but dim the sun. That's got nothing to do with being against solar.

I say it's an Orange Tit.

What?!? Crazy, absolutely crazy.

"£50 million government funded scheme". Doesn't sound the best use of £50m to me.

The principle of sending people to a foreign land after they arrive here is very much akin to Rwanda. Housing people for for years somewhere does not that somewhere a "processing area".
-
Thanks for the explanation. So basically the Rwanda plan, or a variation. Pending being sent off somewhere these people need to be accommodated. If you're against the housing proposal, where are they housed pending transportation? A willingness to smash the gangs surely is a good thing? Not sure why anyone would take issue with that.
