  1. Kamara or McKennie in on loan would make this a 9/10 window for me (can't be 10/10 with these two keepers even though I understand why we can't add another). A lack of DM coming in would leave a slightly sour taste in my mouth as we're so weak if any of the three we have get injured, and I still don't think Romeu is starting quality any more.
  2. Djenepo is literally right footed for fuck sake. 😆
  3. Not gonna lie I’m more than happy with Armstrong shooting the way he does, nice change from previous seasons.
  4. Nothing backing it but he's not had a minute so far has he? Seems strange from playing almost every match in preseason. He didn't let in an absolute howler so it's progress.
  5. He seems to have fallen out with Tella so I'd be playing Elyounoussi and Redmond on the wings based on what we've seen so far. Actually thought Elyounoussi played really well, even if it did take a bit of luck for his first goal to go in. There's no way Djenepo or Walcott should be anywhere near.
  6. Take the point but it should have been more. Absolutely wild strategy to leave constant 2v2s at the back against ASM, although I think Salisu dealt with the majority of them incredibly well. Redmond changed the game when he came on and set-up the goal and penalty. Keep Djenepo on the bench and bring in a 6 who can pass a ball. If ASM is injured for any period of time then they are relegated.
  7. Romeu absolutely awful today. Go out and buy a 6 who can do what he does and anything else.
  8. Good stuff Redmond, credit where it’s due.
  9. Romeu and JWP are so fucking slow. Been saying it for months but Romeu needs replaced, you can find a CDM who can make a tackle who is also capable of passing a ball.
  10. He was onside, they showed it on stream. He also had a clear shot of goal (on his strong foot) which he turned up to turn back and get a shot blocked when the defenders had got back into position.
  11. I can't believe we're not winning this game. The problem is they can't be any worse and it's yet to be seen if we can play/score in a second half. Djenepo is simply not good enough.
  12. Get this idiot off the pitch.
  13. That is fucking appalling. Need to score whilst Newcastle haven’t turned up, we look good but it means nothing at 0-0.
  14. Three times now where the ball falls to Romeu around the 18 yard box and he either doesn’t know what to do or can’t trap a ball.
  15. It's not rocket science, he is shit and you could make a case against him for every goal we've conceded this season. He showed a willingness to switch the same keepers last year when they made mistakes so why not now?
  16. Everywhere else was reporting £40m so was inclined to think that'd be correct.
  17. Fucking hell.
  18. Forster KWP - Bednarek - Salisu - Perraud JWP - Romeu Livramento - Elyounoussi Che - Armstrong Hope he gives Elyounoussi a game after tonight, wouldn’t mind seeing Stu (if fit) and Tella involved to. Just leave out Walcott/Djenepo for the love of god.
  19. He got his words a little muddled, he meant it'll be beneficial that Elyounoussi is staying at the club if Armstrong is having an injury problem.
  20. Good for Elyounoussi, has to start on Saturday after this. Gain some momentum.
  21. Apparently Redmond just missed an absolute sitter. 😆
  22. Forster KWP - Bednarek - Stephens - Valery Diallo - JWP Elyounoussi - Tella Broja - Redmond
  23. It's not a real account, nothing to worry about.
  24. The only big difference for me is Forster has some of those random games (Arsenal A etc...) where he goes absolutely mad and wins us points on his own. McCarthy is just a 3-6/10 every game, whereas Forster has (or at least had) the potential to have a MOTM display. They are both so shit though, it's crazy we've put ourselves in this position.
  25. If we get 2, at best 3 years out of him and he goes for the £40m buy-back rumoured, we've had a great time of it. Realistically there's no hope of any non-homegrown player joining us and not moving on in that general timeframe anyway if they're a large success. Whilst the academy is absolutely dry, this is a welcome way for us to see some of the best young talent in the country week-in week-out. It's a tiny sample size but I'd be very surprised if this kid doesn't make it to the absolute highest level.
