Would be a good loan option but wouldn't be surprised if he stayed at spurs next season. They are woefully short at CB.

He was one of their best players last season from what I saw and scored some top quality and important goals. I'm sure Fyler can correct me if I'm wrong though. But another player who is written off has "not good enough" or "could do better". Who exactly is good enough to play for Saints? Certainly not Mackie, Owen, Huddlestone, Mariappa, Clyne (because Lambert beat him in the air) etc etc.

Why focus on crisps? It's just 1 of 100's of crap things people consume every day as part of their normal diet. The amount of fat, sugar, salt and chemicals consumed every day in every meal is staggering. Cronic diesease is rising because our bodies spend all its time trying to flush out the **** we put in it. Most people are just simply unaware or too lazy and addicted to even care.

It's weird how poor some of the marketing/ticketing operations seem to be. Much of it is pretty standard.

Yep and there would actually be no shame is accepting 4M for a 16 year old young who has never played for us, it would be a decent return. However, if we really do want these kids to eventually be playing for us, we have to just reject the others. And agree, would be great to see those that are good enough playing 200+ games for us. Will be another test of resolve and commitment to actually turn down big money for young first team players like Bale, Ox etc.

To a lesser extent, we do the same to other clubs. Didn't we get Shaw from Plymouth? We've at least took a couple of their highly rated players and there is no guarantee that they will all make it with us. If the club can't keep hold of the best young players we have though,then the "dream" of having 50% of the team made up of academy youngsters can go out the window.

Sharp is less likely to get past players than Lambert is. I can't think of a single goal he scored (for us) where he had to do so.

I think it looks pretty **** but it's just a shirt for one season. The kids won't care too much and they are the ones these things should be aimed at.

To be fair, on the odd occasion when I see the Echo when visiting the parents, the saints coverage doesn't really look any different to how it used to before the club froze them out.
