  1. I'm sure Jaidi will start, he was just rested on Tuesday. Martin is a good prospect, It wasn't his greatest game on Tuesday (he's usually much better with his distribution) but i hope we sign him up on a deal soon as he's out of contract at the end of the season.
  2. Out of interest - how many defeats/draws did you afford us in the remaining games?
  3. Totally. The play from Lallana to setup the 2nd goal was simply majestic. The 2nd half was pretty decent from us tbh, could have got a 4th or 5th.
  4. TBF Lallana makes our team tick, without him we're pretty poor to say the least. He is their Lallana really.
  5. Echo that. Reading some of the Huddersfield forums and they're saying that some of their players walked away in tears. He's a very very good player and it would be a shame to see his talent wasted on a freak injury.
  6. tbf I'd imagine the load on the sever for home matches is much lighter, so you wouldn't expect it to crash and burn as it has done during away games. It was pretty iffy at the weekend, but more bearable than before. Hope it stands up on Saturday.
  7. It was a funny atmosphere and I'm sure the players felt it. I think everyone turned up tonight and expected us to trounce them 6-0 and play them off the park. Anything else was greeted with a groan. A little realism and perspective is needed by a large portion of our fan base at times.
  8. Had the same around me. Lots of impatient groans at 3-0 up in the 89th min when we passed the goal back to Davis.
  9. Don't worry, people will do their best. Granted - we weren't totally amazing tonight, but we did a good professional job on a workman like but ultimately limited team.
  10. We were fine, a bit sloppy in the first half but we were never in any danger of losing the game once we took the lead. We took more of a control in the 2nd half and the change in formation seemed to help us a little. A 3-0 is satisfactory and with Bournemouth also losing, it's a great night for us. We will play better at Bournemouth, don't panic.
  11. His attitude showed towards us was total tosh and he deserved all the grief he got in the end.
  12. At least that'll add a few 0's to his price..!
  13. I arrived late for the Bournemouth league game this year (around 20 mins late) and the gates in the Kingsland were still open when I got there, still a few people running in at that point.
  14. They are struggling, I think the fixtures are catching up with them now and their squad depth is showing up against the likes of West Ham etc. I reckon they're in big trouble, but at least they've made a good fist of it - more than most thought they'd do!
  15. I wasn't far off with that one at all.
  16. At least they haven't waited until they play us! That's usually par the course for managerial changes.
  17. I'm still none the wiser.
  18. TBF they've been competing very well with a team like that.
  19. Danny has barley put a foot wrong all season, he doesn't deserve to be dropped. The only extra thing Fraser has in his locker is his recovery pace - but other than that there's nothing between them. We're lucky to have 2 very equal and talented RB's for this level.
  20. TBH if we were the team scraping 6th, and we went up, you'd all be saying the system is fantastic. - We almost did it in the championship a few years ago. I think it extends the season and creates extra excitement, teams that never have a chance of competing with the top 3 can believe and dream of going up by scraping 6th. Burnley and Blackpool would have never got their chance otherwise.
  21. Colchester's last home defeat was way back in November, so this result isn't too shabby at all.
  22. We'll win well.
  23. Looking forward to this one. Could put ourselves into a great position for Saturday if Bournemouth drop points away at Exeter....
  24. We've got Bompey away, MK Dons at home and Brighton away.
