He's just earning too much money. I can't see any club wanting to pay 60k+ in wages for someone who hasn't set foot on a football field in 18 months or so? Plus he had a year out prior to that with a very bad injury. We've pushed ourselves into a corner with the huge salary we gave him and anyone in their right mind isn't going to say ''Don't worry, let me play for free'' when he still has 3/4 years remaining. So, well done Les. His career at the top level is probably over and we're out of pocket for millions.

Pretty weird situation to be honest, you hope that the passengers are found safe and well (think there were only 2 or 3 on there?) but let's be honest the chances of that are pretty slim now.

The fact he thinks he did well here says it all, too high an opinion of himself and a complete berk. He played 50 games in a row, maybe, but we lost most of them. No surprise we're better now he's out of the team. Good riddence to bad rubbish. The most uncomfortable looking defender i've ever had to watch.

He's a ******** on the line kind of defender, just throws himself in front of anything and everything. I thought he did a good job at the back end of last year, so I had no idea why he was excluded at the start of this season. I mean Hoedt, over him? Come on. Probably our best Centre Back to be honest - although Vesterguard is improving and looking more comfortable as we go.....still think we could do with some genuine pace and power in the back line though.

No one is putting the blame on him for last night. Have a read.

He was shown up once he lost people like Fonte and VVD along side him. They covered for a lot of his averageness during the Koeman years. He got beaten too much down his side, it was always a critisim. Now he's surrounded by lesser quality he hasn't stepped up, he's been shown up. Plus his attitude stinks. Ryan hasn't been as good, but hasn't been shown up as much as Cedric has.

Oh you don't have to justify any of that to me! Never really rated him, bog average really. But now even worse as his attitude stinks and he can't give a ****. He screams bad egg to me and he's not good enough to warrant sticking with.

The good sign is that Ralph is casting his net far and wide, obviously really looking into detail at what he has to select at all levels. Which is refreshing. Previous managers were just too keen to stick with tried and tested over rated rubbish. About time we had someone in charge who is keen to give everything a bit of tlc.

I reckon we could get about £15m for him, which would be daylight robbery if we're honest. Let's take it, get Joakim who is cheaper I think. He looks more suited on the videos, but you can't read much into them. Either way, I'd just be glad to be shot of Cedric. I'm not sure if I've said it before, but I don't like him.

To me he looked a little bit out of his depth if I'm honest. Looks like there may be something to work with, but not yet.

I mean who else is there? We're lacking any real options in attack. He's there because we have no one else. To be fair Ralph is giving him a chance, but I think he's probably seen enough now.

Still massive fragility in this side. Lots of work to be done. Not a fan of Johnson or Ramsay, they look a bit short for this level. Moi just doesn't look like a footballer, it's bizzare. Overall it was just a cup game at the end of the day, and the obvious issues in this squad still persist but I'm confident the coaching staff know and are trying to do something about it.

His decision making is and will always be his weak point which is why we're about his level, but he's quick and has been more direct this season which has helped us open games up.

He is so painful to watch, I'll give you that.

Yeah which is fair enough, obviously not going to make it here so he needs to forge a career at some level. How did he do at Telstar anyway? That's a pretty crap level by all accounts.
