I spoke to one of the TV Camera men after the game and his words were ''That's a team being relegated, right there. I've seen lots over the years and you just know. But the mystery to me and a lot of my colleagues is how is this guy still employed? He looks like a rabbit in headlights"

It's exactly that. We lord it about saying how we don't sack managers, we get the decisions right., we're concidered in our approach. We lead, others follow. etc etc etc. In fact they made an almightly **** up, twice in a row. Admitting it will be a PR disaster for their Southampton way gumf. He should have been gone in December, he'll still be here in March and we'll still hear guff about how we're ''growing''. The only reason we need to ‘grow’ is because he’s ruined us.

Let's be honest, we haven't had a captain since Fonte went. He was the guy pulling this team around over the years, no surprise we've gone to the **** since he left.

Cedric has always flattered to decieve to me. I've never been quite sure why 'big clubs' are supposidly interested in him.

When you have Gabbiadani and Redmond on the bench it was truly dumb. I like Gabbi, feel sorry for him as I think he's a clever player. But sadly this manager has killed his career here.

I don't have an issue with losing to Liverpool, I don't think any fans do. The problem I have is our 2nd half, the lack of any fight or urgency or desire has just done me in. You can lose, but at least show something. We offered nothing. The problem isn't that we lost to Liverpool, its how we lost it. It was the most boring game in the world.

Luckily I missed the Leicester game, so for me it's as bad as I've seen!

Serious? We have more chance of convincing Rio to come out of retirement. There's obviously something going on behind the scenes with regards to his contract and his demands, but if he does leave it will be for a CL team without question. We wouldn't even be in the equation.

On paper we have players who shouldn’t be where they are. We have a better squad than Brighton, Huddersfield, Burnley, and Bournemouth. We've just been horrifically mismanaged. The fact is that if we do go down, 60% of this squad will be cherry picked as other managers will recognise the quality we have, and will have the ability to create a team with our quality left overs. The PL will be littered with ''former Southampton players''. That's nothing to be proud of, just sums up the colossal mismanagement at every level.

It's getting to the stage where I'm more than happy to present the club with my Football Manager CV. Getting Bradford to the Champions League is not to be sniffed at. I reckon I have a chance.

I don't know what sort of manager he is, I still have absolutley no idea what he's trying to achieve with us.

The 2nd half we were as bad as you could ever imagine us to be. Absolutley truly horrific, devoid of any desire, application or drive. As bad as I've seen us play at home, and I've seen some disgusting home games in the last 2 years.

Given that his prime purpose is to help us in that area, then he failed. Looks like bambi on ice out there sometimes. Another incredibly slow player to add to our incredibly slow team.

for 2 years we have been diabolical at home, truly depressing to watch. You can pin it down to Koeman, but I pin it on our inability to correctly replace Mane or inject some pace into this side.

Anyone would be better, let's not kid ourselves.

It wouldn't be a debate if we were at least showing an effort or had some actual direction, but we don't and haven't got a direction. It has been 2 seasons of absolute dog **** at home, I can only count two games in 2 years which have been worth watching. Leicester City last season and Everton this season. That's it.

I doubt they'll give a ****, they've earned a nice enough pocket.

With Carilllo I find it hard to really criticise him, as it's like we've bought a lamp shade without the bulb. We got it half right, but he needed pace and life around him to be effective. Thus we didn't, so he will look like a bit of an oaf. Congratulations to the recruitment morons. I could have done a better job.
