  4. For the sake of his career, he needs to get the **** out of WBA though. The fans hate him. And it's an horrific club to play at, feel sorry for anyone who has to.
  5. The sort of player we've been crying out for (for years). I look forward to watching him, he will get bums on seats!
  6. I don't think his knee injury is anything severe, from what I read he underwent a routeen procedure to clear up some cartilage - nothing more than that. Sounds like exactly what Bertrand had last summer.
  7. The quotes from him were odd as well, he was ''surprised'' to find that Forest had accepted the bid for him. I don't think he was advised to leave as such, more so that Forest saw the $$$$ and said cheerio.
  8. Do you realise that website features made up and fantasy rumours?
  9. Hopefully Rickie can find himself a great club at Championship level and help them to promotion.
  10. Last seasons start was a lot ****er tbf.

He doesn't speak for me. Seems a very hysterical rant, knee jerking on stuff he doesn't really have a full insight on. I can remember games under Koeman and MP where we played a hell of a lot worse - a hell of a lot. Way too much over the time tripe is being written about this formation. Just seems an easy thing for people to lump at the manager when they don't really have the full insight or knowledge.
  12. Sky sources are telling us that Southampton now plan to keep Jay Rodriguez after he was linked with a loan move to West Brom andHull. Our understanding is that Southampton were considering letting him out on loan to get game time after spending so much of the last two seasons injured. The forward, 27, scored his side’s late equaliser against Sunderland at St Mary’s yesterday and has made just 14 first-team appearances since suffering a knee injury in April 2014.
  13. Absolutely spot on - everything you say is right.
  14. There were times I felt we had a lack of control, I wasn't as impressed with the ball retention through the middle as I have been in other games this year - we were pretty sloppy, and Romeu wasn't at the races again (for me). But for this formation to truly work we need two attacking full backs who provide the width. Cedric does this to a certain extent on the right, but Targett is not providing any threat. Once we get Bertrand back, we'll have pace and threat down the left - we'll look a little more balanced I hope. As i've said above, I don't see anything catastrophically wrong - just a little rustiness, start of season blues. We're not a bad side.
  15. Who is pocketing all the money apparently, go figure.
  16. It seems way too easy to blame a tactic, when more than anything it seems that we lack sharpness and are a bit rusty. We also lack a bit of star quality/xfactor in the attack, which the club are closed to addressing. Way too early to ditch anything or reinvent anything.
  17. I can also see that the ''we got lucky'' for 2 years in a row myth being trotted out again.
  18. I didn't get the grief over the Tadic sub, any of the attacking players could have come off to be honest - at least he put two centre forwards on and changed it up, I felt we got more into the game in the final third on the back of the subs if I'm honest.
  19. First 20 mins, great - after that, trash. No penetration in the final third and a really really poor effort in midfield as the game went on, we never had control over it. Sunderland didn't threaten a great deal, but there was always a risk that just one moment could go their way if we kept playing as casual and slow as we were - and it did. Jose was way too tight to someone like Defoe, that's exactly how he plays CB's and I'd have hoped Jose would have known all about that. It was all too little too late after that, a late rally - but you have to wonder why we couldn't pepper them like that over the course of the match. It was way too much side ways and backwards for the majority of that game, almost trying to create the perfect goal as opposed to playing the situation or conditions (very arsenal esque). The players seemed somewhat confused at times. Also a note on Davis....I don't like the role he has, I don't think he's suited as this sort of midfielder, he needs to be in the attacking third running at defenses - not the last line of midfield trying to stop attacks/break up play, he's too small and weak for that. It's still way too early to jump to any sort of conclusions and it just feels a little bit of a slow start more than anything, I don't see any glaring catastrophic problems - lots of rustiness and lack of match sharpness though.
  20. The fact that their official account felt it needed to respond to a randomer tweet says it all. #Smalltime
  21. Portsmouth?
  22. Nice. #ITKWatch
  23. That joke got old 10 years ago.
  24. Could have done without the Inter games being back to back, but never mind.
