Not really, in this day and age once you have a connection back to the ISP either via PPoE or Cable, then you keep that IP. It'll only pull a new one if you reconnect at some point, which in theory you shouldn't do regularly unless there is a line or device problem. I had Virgin for years, I usually had the same IP for about a year until I did a hard reboot of the modem. I'm with Infinity now, and it's the same with this really, it just stays connected with the same IP for months on end. Batman - you don't mention what is dropping as such, are you seeing your WiFi connection disconnecting at all, or is the internet going down, but your wifi is staying online? You'll have an infinity modem as well as the home hub, so when you lose connection it's worth having a look at the infinity modem to see if the sync lights are still solid - then you can work out what is causing the problem. I can't give much info on the Home hub as I don't use it, I drill the infinity modem into my own router.

I've always liked him as a player, he's quite a rare player in the English game - very technical and silky on the ball, someone the England team could do with on a regular basis - but seemingly not possible! I agree that his smoking habits and other habits aren't great, and I'm sure other players do it as well...but when he's having as many fitness problems as he is having, then you do have to look at his lifestyle as well.

Don't think anyone is laughing to be honest, but Wilshire hasn't just had 1 particularly bad injury hit season. It's been for the last 5 years. He's only 23 and has missed 119 weeks of football - that is just insane. The worry is that it's always the same sort of injuries. Fractures, ligaments, ankles. He's just got a weak structure and the sad thing is that he'll probably never fulfill his career because of this. A few Arsenal fans I know have had enough now, they wished they'd have taken the offer they had from City in the summer.

Probably 4th choice to be honest. He hasn't really shone in the games he has played for us, looked a little dodgy in terms of letting his man go - all the time. But he's not a bad 4th CB to have, not at all. From the first game, Virgil is on a different level.

few media outlets reporting that he could be out for up to nine months. Nasty. -
Well, they looked quite toothless in the 2nd half I felt. They seem to be picking up a few knocks and niggles, not a bad time to face them all being said.
-
Well, I'll have him back then. Cheers

For some reason, this troll is allowed to continue on here.

He's a horrible, horrible person. Can't you just ban him?
-
It's horrendous, reminds me of the injuries Eduardo suffered for Arsenal. It was so clear, it was one of those horrible ''sick in the stomach' moments. Such a good player, was coming good this year, but this is a hammer blow for him. This is going to be 12 months +, I just can't see how it won't be based on the pictures. That was bad.

He might as well just retire, to be honest.

Nigel Adkins Interview (Saints YouTube channel, Monday)

It truly was a great few years, I loved those seasons in the lower leagues. It was a laugh! -
Yeah, somehow I don't think that'll happen. Just a hunch.

It's not like Pluto to be wrong. blimey. -
There is one comment that I often see on here which does my head in. ''We could have done with Gaston on the bench to allow us to break the team down''. Please, tell me, someone, when has he ever come off the bench to help us break teams down over a consistent period of time? He has gone from Southampton, he has failed. A disastrous signing of the Osvaldo mold (although not quite as bad). Way too much of a loss for a club of our size to be making. He's made of glass, he's not suited to the physical style of this league and is never involved enough to make any long-lasting impressions on games. Really, people need to just give up on the 'hope' now. He will not come good at this level, ever.
-
Too early to come up with complete conclusions on him, as WBA didn't really threaten enough and he'll get much bigger tests (although we have been saying that for 2 years...), but in the times he was called into action and the way he handled the ball was pretty epic. He reminded me of Rio Ferdinand in his prime, that sort of ball playing centre back who is perfect for us. Looks technically so good.

Don't see why, he's better than anything else they have in CM. More Van Gal tactical genius I imagine. As much of a myth as 'Brendan 'tactical revolutionary' Rogers
-
Lallana is always injured it seems.
-
Or Stoke, what with all of their mega signings that we should have had here - apparently.
-
He's not a defensive midfielder, he's just a pace-setting central midfield player - just like JWP really, neither - IMO - are going to be too much of a threat in an AMC role. Wouldn't mind seeing Jay and Tadic either side of Mane just in behind Pelle, with Clasie spraying the passes from CM and Victor shielding.

The highlight was prob the red arrows display I was treated to at half time.

I'll be honest, I didn't have an issue today. Went on at about 2:30, got the TSN5 stream on via Kodi and it didn't stop once (better than it has been in the other weeks this season). Pretty happy with it today. May be something with the load balancing if some people are having issues and some aren't.
-
He wasn't really tested too much in a defensive sense, but looked very dominant in the jewels and picked up good positions to cover for players. But the positive about him is his ability on the ball, it was pretty immese. The commentators made the remark that he was the best passer on the pitch - and they're probably not far wrong!

We just don't move it quickly enough in the final third. There are plenty of goals in the attack though, it'll come.
