  1. Yeah, wtf is up with that??? Has impacted the game in his last 2 sub appearances, which is all you can ask. Still has some very irritating parts of his game, i.e randomly giving the ball away, and heading a ball across your own goal. But other than that, he's improving.
  2. A great win, but not a great performance. Very labored for the majority of that game, but we always looked the most likely. Was quite clear that WBA wanted a draw and nothing else, and they were complete and utter fodder. I'd have been seriously depressed if we'd failed to win that one! What a shocking team to have to support.
  3. He got us that win, pretty much. He was making saves like that regularly at the start of the season, and we were keeping lots of clean sheets. I can imagine that Gazzaniga would have probably let that shot go in today.
  4. I wondered what was going on. How awful. Really hope all ends well.
  5. Keep wumming away.
  6. To be honest, even though they've appointed a manager, there is absolutely no change whatsoever he'll be able to implement by Saturday. So, basically, we'll still be playing with their caretaker in charge.
  7. Swansea are going to sign Tom Ince. Make of that what you will.

    Chico Flores

He's had a pretty awful season so far, truth be told.
  9. 2006 I think. Lallana's professional debut. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/league_cup/5266330.stm
  10. I really don't know how Fergie managed to get that squad to win the league. Players like Evans, Cleverley, Buttner, Fabio, Wellbeck....utter bog standard average. Wouldn't get on the bench for other clubs in the top 4, let a lone on the pitch.
  11. Another truly awful result for Moyes and Man Utd. It really couldn't have got much worse for him this year if hed tried.
  12. A very nice tie against Yeovil there. Progress to be had...
  13. A nice winnable game please!
  14. This WHU reserve side is barley league standard.
  15. He's been injured most of the season though, no surprise there.
  16. Doble is still unattached, doesn't have a club. Newport offered him a 1 month contract apparently, but he turned it down. Bit odd, thought he was a good prospect going by his international status.
  17. Our good old friend Papa, is currently playing his trade here - Al-Ettifaq
  18. Otsemobor is at MK Don's I think, but he's only part of their reserves. Richardson is @ Boro, but never plays. Antonio is pretty decent for Wednesday. Hammond is a squad player for Leicester I think, doesn't play a great deal. Mellis went on to make a decent career for himself @ Barnsley, although struggling this year. Gillett is @ Forest, but a reserve for them.
  19. The senior players, Downing, Jarvis, Morrison and Diara are pretty much dross too. They're so ****ed, quite nice to see!
  20. Richardson had something like 14 assists in the championship season, he was great that year. Sad to see him not even in the squad at M'Boro these days.
  21. It might not be a big list, but if that list includes your best players, then you will struggle. Not sure what you're trying to achieve here, as the reason the goals have started going in is clear to me, and probably every other 'fan'.
  22. But that's assuming WHU will create chances and have possession in games, which they've shown very little evidence of in the last few months. It would be an enormous gamble that could easily back fire. Carroll will be back soon, and I'd expect him to go straight back into the 11, seeing what they paid for him and his wages. Lambert could well end up as a sub in a relegated side.
  23. Glasgow makes it up as he goes along, and for what it's worth WHU are having an injury crisis and their form has gone to the ****s for that reason.
  24. I don't think he's the sort of player to care about money. He's at the top of the game with us now, and there's no indication that he's not part of the first team - in fact he's the only real striker we have at the moment. He can either stay with us and play in the top half of the league regularly, or lose lots of games in a relegation battle whilst playing in one of the most horrendous teams in the league for 6 months, just for a little more dosh. It would be a very short-sighted move, as they will probably go down, and they'll then need to get rid of him pretty sharpish.
