Agree, but it would be a shame to go out due to playing too weak a side, SAA needs to get better in physical contests so not sure if Watford are right opponents for him. Dibling looks better suited for that. Our fans definitely seem up for it, we sold out 4,029 in 2 days whereas looking on Watford site they've sold very few home end tickets so far, plenty on general sale for anyone looking for a ticket.

Yes a long way to go with a few surprises along the way
-
Agree, we don't want to go there last game needing something either, need to be clear ahead of them by then
-
I think Martin said end of month for Bree, Edozie and Sulemana, not seen any of them training yet though. U21s at home to Celtic on Wednesday evening, not sure if over aged players can feature but might get an idea from that game if any get a run out for fitness.

It's their rearranged game from FA Cup 4th round weekend I think. Its an interesting move by them getting the fixture played now and in theory points on the board. Our game at home to Hull due to be played 27th Jan was rearranged for Feb 20th so we're saving up a game in hand. Hopefully Leeds have a disruptive transfer window and drop some points, Norwich have picked up a bit and Bristol City away on a Friday night certainly not easy, but quite likely they do win all three will shift the dynamic of the table again if we're 4th when taking the field against Rotherham Leeds v Preston Leeds v Norwich Bristol City v Leeds

Martin will be keen to keep the unbeaten run going but I sense the Cup is just a distraction for him. Maybe we can win whilst fielding an ineligible player and go out that way.
-
Agree would expect a couple of other first teamers in the line up, in fact Watford could be more likely to make lots of changes. Interesting we have rearranged our game vs Hull to 20th Feb whereas Watford play Sheff Wed away on Wednesday after (31st Jan) As we have a whole week until our next game at Rotherham less pressure on Martin to rotate.

Aren't suspensions relating to bookings competition specific?
-
If you think last 20 mins where we were poor right across the pitch and the defence were put under a lot of pressure was just down to Stephens coming on then I think you're just looking for a scapegoat .
-
Failure to go up will soften the blow knowing we get to stay in a VAR-less league , won't be the end of the world
-
The defence was disrupted but there was plenty going wrong in front of them that lead the defence to suddenly be under a lot of pressure, we'd stopped attacking and were sloppy passing. Game would have been over long before if we'd also been more clinical in front of goal, lots of missed chances.
-
I think it's lazy to blame Stephens for the last 20 mins, whole side fell apart, passing got sloppy, we stopped attacking and invited trouble, Rothwell looked like he wasn't sure where he should be. First half was excellent, nice to win away again, just need to keep the momentum going

You're absolutely right mate, Martin has done a good job clearing out the players with poor attitude and built a proper team, compare the attitude of this side to what we had last season, its great to see. I was in Itchen for the Walsall game and had close up of Ryan Fraser 2nd half in front of us, his attitude was first class looking for the ball but also a vocal player with plenty of encouragement for the younger lads around him. He seemed to have a bad rep when he joined Newcastle but that seems misplaced.
-
I genuinely think good 2nd half of the season THB and KWP should be given a look in for England squad. Of course they won't as football doesn't exist outside the Premier league but they are good enough.
-
Getting promoted this year is also really important just to keep THB, pleasure to watch him and fits in so well with Bednarek. From what I hear he's a really down to earth lad, mature for his age which I guess is shown by his captaincy of England u21s and already being included in training with England first team. Makes a huge difference from some of the players with questionable attitude who tried to play there last season, particularly Salisu and Caleta-Car (Lyanco just a lunatic) ABK is only on loan at PSV isn't he so potentially we end up with him again if his shoulder ever repairs.
-
Anyone know if we'll be allowed to vlog from safe standing area?
-
Was the dispute over payment to Swansea for Russell Martin ever resolved?
-
If he's allowed to leave that's the end of our promotion hopes, simple as that. Would rely on James Bree staying fit for the rest of this season, he could be right back but a very different player.
-
I agree, we only played there last month plus trains are a bit of a mess that day , guess its quick and easy to drive to, makes you wonder how many we could have taken on a Saturday 3pm with unlimited away end? Its Cup fever , I've got my cardboard cut out fa cup covered in foil ready for the day 👍

Unbelievable support really, never known demand like it for away games, that's Swansea, Watford, Rotherham and Bristol City sold out for the next few weeks
-
-
I suspect the driving force behind this is Russell Martin, he pictures himself taking the celebratory applause around the ground at final whistle before approaching the packed Northam Ultras all with their arms raised ready to join him in a whey whey wheeeeey
-
He was an unused sub in Bournemouth FA Cup 3rd round game, does that definitely mean not Cup tied?
-
Yeah they put the "usual" away blocks on sale first which was 2100 and have since opened up one more block. I'd say about 2000 sold so far, good going
