  1. I bet he is fit enough in time for our game on the sunday! Fulham have already sold out the first allocation of 1800 tickets we sent them last week, and have now been given another 700 to take the allocation up to 2500, not sure if they will sell all of those, but surprised with that as was only expecting to bring about 800 for a televised game on a sunday lunchtime.
  2. This game will definitely make it to just season ticket sales, and also probably general sale (if we get the extra allocation to 3000) a lot of people won't pay £39 for a game like this. rip off. having said that a kid for a quid is a good deal so that might encourage more families.
  3. Thanks for this, are they definitely showing the game tomorrow ? I'll pop down there if they are.
  4. it is a good thing because the GMP thought they could get away with ignoring the stoke fan's basic right of freedom of movement because, being football, the police can get away with treating fans how they like. FSF did a brilliant job in that case. Germany is a good example where fans have a voice and it works well.
  5. also said , charging it per ticket instead of per transaction - HOW CAN YOU JUSTIFY SUCH A BLATANT RIP OFF?
  6. applying the fee to debit as well as credit cards is scandalous. i had to buy extra tickets for a mate on saturday so nipped the ground about midday, already had to pay £2 extra with it being a match day = £37 cheapest, but to then have to pay £1.50 on top for a debit card is taking the plss. there is zero risk to the business accepting payment in this way and is just as quick to process as cash (unless they are a dodgy business and would rather cash payments for "accounting" purposes) i started explaining that but obviously wasting your time with our ticket office. West Ham away is a laugh, £1 ticket for an under 16 online you pay more for the booking fee than the match ticket. companies must know if you treat customers like this they will eventually get so annoyed they'll stop buying. it is an unjustifyable charge that in no way corresponds with the business costs v accepting cash.
  7.:facepalm::facepalm::facepalm::: Official line was 20 points I thought ? Imagine if you'd bought for tonight on that basis with the expectation that points would count towards west ham priority , only to find out later you're just front of the queue for Bradford or Burton at home!
  8. They are clearly making up this loyalty points scheme while they go along , surely they should say priority goes to people with x number of points rather than been to specific games , having sheffield Wednesday on your account for example. Can't see too many more games where demand will be high , perhaps spurs away.
  9. Looking forward to going tonight as I do enjoy cup football , with more wet weather forecast for today I can't see many more tickets being sold so looking at 8k, disappointing really. Sheff Wednesday rested a few players themselves in the last round so I think we'll be ok. 3-1 win. Is Antonio playing for them again ?
  10. There might be some clues tonight as the development squad are playing spurs at staplewood so anyone who plays in that won't feature. Wonder if Dave Jones will get a good reception ? Any news on ticket sales ? We'll be lucky to get more than 10k I think.
  11. The executive boxes were hardly used and are clearly over priced so that accounts for a lot of it. I went down the ground at midday to get a ticket for a mate , cheapest in chapel is £37 on match day with £1.50 fee for paying with a debit card! (Not credit ) so £38.50 in total that is a lot for villa at home.
  12. i agree, but also think with our bad start people haven't got the appetite for it. Sales for Sheff Wednesday game next week also look very slow online. That said don't think we make much of an effort to sell tickets, if you were a casual fan you wouldn't neccessarily know tickets were still available, they don't put much in the media / twitter to get attention. have noticed adverts in the Evening standard every night this week for Arsenal v Coventry next week for £10
  13. it really isnt that bad in any of it, if you're down by the corner flag the other end of the pitch can seem a bit of a distance away.
  14. even if it had there is still room in the lower bullens, and it isn't a classic upper / lower tier, the lower bullens is joined straight onto the "paddock" so all in the same area etc, just a bit of a different view
  15. well we know that they club allowed for the dilution of atmosphere in block 3 by allocating comps to that area, plenty of room down the other end of the Itchen if they wanted but they choose there. will depend on how many of them turn up. plenty of room to spread out for the chapel enders then, it will be just like the old days of league one!
  16. apparently Villa have sold out of their allocation now, should make it a decent atmosphere.
  17. I agree with this , we will lose at Everton as they will bully us physically
  18. Comps from the players mate , those lads were friends of Clyne , probably croydon boys
  19. Exactly this. How utterly dull is the emirates . Our support also full of day trippers one tosser behind me on phone to his Mrs in first half discussing their shopping list ! As someone who was a regular at almost every away in league one and championship I have to say I miss those days. Oldham on a Tuesday better than yesterday
  20. when i was up there a couple of years back and did the Fulham game seemed they have improved the bus service after the game with loads lined up going back into town, was quite a small crowd that night though. cab from Lime St was really cheap, about £6 between 3 of us, definitely the best way to get to the ground in my opinion and have a relaxing drink in town or Albert Dock
  21. i was thinking that, it's as if they released a home and a "change" kit this season giving no thought to what colours were actually needed. so far we have had the yellow kit at Bristol City pre-season and at Stevenage, now Arsenal, so if we play away to a team in red you can assume we'll wear Yellow.
  22. Can't really argue with any of that, predicted score about right. Is walcott back ? We will definitely conceed 100% guaranteed.
  23. Birmingham at home was moved to a sunday last year for exactly that!
  24. There will be lots of Hants cricket fans on the trains up and in the pubs around Waterloo on the way back, should make for a good day
